You may not like the DTs they signed in free agency, but those signings are primarily 1st and 2nd down players.Unfortunately, we needed - and still do, of course - a DT for 1st- & 2nd-downs...

That's his alleged rep made by some, though he's not NEARLY as good at it as he's being paid to be.Isnt Godchaux a run stuffer?

So you guys who rip Bill for this pick.. Who would be your pick, and much would you bet on him having a better career than Barmore?
Based on what?
Watching what I can find of Godchaux, he seems to be a very capable interior anchor/run stopper if healthy.
...Now if anybody has the inside skinny on Bama players, it would be BB because he can talk to Nick Saban directly...
Nobody knew that Cyrus Jones had a life threatening heart condition till years later. Who knows how that affected him in the pros. Then why didn't he give Bill the inside skinny on Cyrus the Virus?
Jordan Richards ... a great physical talent?? In Munchkinland, maybeSo it took you 3 days to come to this "shocking" conclusion. This post reminds me of when in the classic Cassablanca. Capt Reneau walks into Ricks and says, "I'm shocked to find out that Gambling is going on in this establishment" and then a waiter comes up to him and hands him his winnings.
Everyone here knew that Barmore was a gamble since the discussion of draft picks was started. He was the best DT in a very weak DT class and was also an area of need for the Pats.
Years ago BB confided to someone that he looked at round 2 as a place to swing for the fences. A place to find a great physical talent who for some reason (injuries character, etc) drops into the 2nd round and you take a chance on him. You sometimes get Gronk and you sometimes get Jordan Richards.j Barmore is a classic BB 2nd round hit or miss.
Ty Warren part two

A similar heart condition thing happened to Reggie Lewis and nobody blames anybody for not know about it.
The medical condition was undetected until too late.
Regardless of his underlying medical condition, the dude was taken a Full Round too early, at minimum...
If Barmore plays like a first rounder (the round he was drafted in)...will you still say he was drafted to soon ?Regardless of his underlying medical condition, the dude was taken a Full Round too early, at minimum...
Camera not getting his best side?
