Brady Returns to Foxboro on Sunday Night, October 3

Brady is done winning Super Bowls.

Tampa had a lot of luck getting there this past season and the Bucs wont have the same drive to repeat which has not been done since 2003/2004 when Brady was a young man and NE had the best defense of BBs NE teams.
Rob Parker is that you???

Not saying this to be edgy but I genuinely could not care less about the Brady vs Pats story. It's the Bucs. It's a boring match up to me no matter who's playing for them

Soon sorts scribes and radio mediots will be playing this game for more than its face value, things like "BB pounding his desk as he exhorts McDaniels to come up with as great game plan", "BB telling his team that this is the most important game of the NEP franchise" or "BB shaking his fist in the air to rally his team"...

Meanwhile it is really just one game in a 17 game season, there will be plenty of "bulletin board" material to help motivate... but it will generate controversy and probably too much media attention.

My guess is that this thread will expand as time goes on eventually reaching 100+ pages of speculation and stuff fans have heard from anonymous sources and sources that should be anonymous.

Love Tom. Loved everything he did he and admire what he did last year to get ring no. 7.
But I hope we crush him (legally and without injury). Hey I'll even take a pick 6 or two.

I hope Tampa loses by thirty points and the crowd chants "Brady Brady" at the end of the game.

That Bucs defense is still in tact. Also bradywent to 3 straight Super Bowls from 2016 to 2018. I don’t see much competition in the nfc. The only team i see is the packers and Rodgers is a choke artist. Don’t trust the 49ers or the Seahawks or rams. This stuff about not being hungry is weak. I am sure brady will have them focus.
The Bucs are fat and happy and Arians is running his mouth. Just when you believe you've git the game all figured out something bad happens, Look at the Chiefs who were suppose cruise to another Super Bowl win.

Russell Wilson is still a Stud. Washington's defense gave Brady all he could handle with a 3rd string QB.

Since its about Super Bowls, Brady has to take out the AFC.

So, BB is not going to pull all the strings out and allow Brady to win in Foxboro?

Im sure that BB would enjoy the remainder if the season if that happens.

Either you have confidence in BBs judgement in matters such as this or you dont. His drafting has been good to terrible at times, but when BB moves on a from a tenured player, he has overwhelming been correct. Brady is one of a few to leave NE and go on to success.

Chandler Jones

Mankins

A cursory list of guys who went nowhere.

LOL.... Nothing like people making up complete crap out of thin air and then talking down to the people who use facts and stats to support their argument...
You have a very funny outlook on "using facts" vs "making up".

What exactly hurts you so bad, you think it's "made up"?

Manning's first two years?
Winston's pick 6's?
Winston's 30 something interceptions?
Winston's 40 something turnovers?

Who paid you to input this dumbazz comment?

Seriously, if you are so shaken by the data, why are you here?

It's incredible how many of you began sounding like Rob Parker and Jets fans who you once mocked & hated for the last 20 years, the moment TB12 left for Tampa. Your loyalty to a sticker on a helmet is making you stupidly irrational.
Im sorry, but a "Team First" mentality doesn't make someone stupidly irrational.

Tom is great. The greatest. Love the guy. I'd have him and Giz over for hotdogs and burgers... after he retires.

I would have to say the undying and unwavering loyalty to one guy is almost cult-like, and quite frankly, its creepy that you guys cant seem to let him go.

And no, letting him go does not mean you dont appreciate what hes done for this team in the past. It simply means we dont feel the need to celebrate what hes doing for another franchise.

The reason we all loved Tom Brady in the first place is because of what he did for our favorite team. I doubt many of us would have had any attachment for him if he was another team's QB this entire time. I have no hard feelings against him and still actively root for him and consider him my favorite player ever.

With that said, this will be fun. Love Tom but this will be the first time I root against him. It'll certainly be weird seeing Tom Brady vs. the Patriots though.

Agree. But he's not coming over to your house unless you vegetate that BBQ menu.

Anyone thinking the pats get blown out hasn’t watched this defense since 2014 vs. pocket passers. Gilmore will take Evans out of the game & BB will bracket Godwin. Press man & pressure up the middle will be the theme.

Now hopefully Mac is playing by then to give them a chance to win.

Their talent offensively is better than ours. Sham sucks. I just hope we are 3-0 heading into that game.

BB knows how to beat Brady.

Tampa is going to lose. BB wont let that big doofus Gronk get the better of him and then have to listen to the never ending BS afterwards.
Cam’s patented 9-20 85 yards 3 int game won’t cut it against a team like the champs.

Yeah that’s always been Bill MO. Take out their best receiver and bracket the second best one and force the opposing team to beat you with their 3rd or 4th option.

the problem is when the 3rd/4th option is AB, Gronk or Brate/Howard and Bernard as a passing back, we might have a problem.

Everybody knows how to beat Tom. Knowing how to do it and actually execute it is an other thing. TB OL was one of the best last year and the patriots pass rush is for now nothing to be really afraid of. If we cannot get to Tom, it will be a long night. And don’t disregard the fact that Tom knows basically every weaknesses of our top Dbs and knows how to exploit them on one on one.

It is not impossible to beat them, anything can happen every Sunday but if the Bucs plays to their level, I don’t realistically think we have a shot.
