Patriots fans don't give a damn what you think of the Patriots dynasty, especially since you can't prove that the Patriots benefitted from taping the opponents sidelines.

If the Patriots did nothing wrong then why did they get fined a half mil and lose a first round pick. Just because you guys are so oblivious doesn't mean it's not true.

It's insane how people say no matter what the Pats season needs an asterisk,

To be fair, the only person I've heard say that is Shula. If people want to say the other championships are tainted, frankly I don't care, that's bound to be a topic of conversation.

But for Shula to say that about this season, that's pretty transparent, and everyone knows it, which is why he's getting blasted all over the place.

And it is very, very doubtful what was done wasn't done by others and from everything I have learned on the subject didn't make any, or much of a difference.

Move on already. What can you say about THIS year???

Like I said on another post I hope we win flat out for the next 10 years. I am really, really getting tired of this.

This thread is about what Shula said about this year. It's not yet another thread about what the Pats did or didn't do wrong, what was or wasn't cheating, what was fair or unfair about spygate.

Well my response was to a poster saying their dynasty should not be tainted so it was referring to things that occured prior to 2007.

From what I read it seems that many of those old washed up players and coaches from the 1972 Dolphins feel that their unique season has never gotten them the proper attention and respect it and they deserve as the "best" team of all time. Their disappointment has turned to bitterness in their old age.

Especially with regard to this perfect season. Fact is the tape was confiscated in the first quarter of the first game. The Pats never saw the tape. There is ZERO chance the tape benefited the team.

The only taint is to the character of the people piling on. It's clear that their concerns are rooted in envy. Thump on Patriots!

I heard on the Big Show they said Shula said the exact OPPOSITE when the scandal originally broke. Can anyone find a link? Anyone know what they are referring to? If so, that's just pathetic for Shula. Either he's just senile or so jealous and over-protective of his record. Either way, he loses a lot of respect in my view.
