Kinda got lost after I read "advanced age", which is just a number. There are very old people at 69 and very young people at 69.. even though you qualify it later in the article, the comment itself does not lend much to the article.

Perhaps the "age" angle didn't come through. The thought was that Bill is 69 and may not want to spend a lot of time rebuilding with a young QB as opposed to rebuilding the team and protecting future draft capital.
