We've had these new jerseys for one year. ONE YEAR. Why aren't the official jersey sites still selling the jerseys we've known and (debatably) loved during the last 20 years? With Edelman's retirement, I want a nice white jersey from 2018 with a SB53 patch on it to commemorate him. But NOOOOOO. We gotta buy these damn Houston Texan knockoff jerseys from the Pats site or take your chances with ebay. Drives me nuts. Give us at least a couple years to get all our favorites before you completely discontinue them!

with all the old players from the last dynasty leaving/retiring, it might be time for a revamp of the uniform. I'm up for a Red and Silver home combo or white/white road unis

Although I want what you want, I think we unfortunately got our "revamp" a year ago and it's going to stick for a while.

The new jerseys are whatever to me, but at least let us still buy the old jerseys for players who wore em. Edelman in this new school jersey just doesn't hit the way the 2000-2019 ones did

Their new uniforms are arguably the worst in the NFL and it's a mystery why Bob thought enough fans liked the pajama home look.

Away uniforms aren't as bad, but the color blocking on the stripes should be revered to match the pants or have white pants.

"Get ready Honey, 'cuz I got an awesome 20th anniversary present especially for YOU!...

... Okay, open up your eyes! That's right!! Replacement parts for the vacuum cleaner - I got 'em at cost! - and discount coupons for Job Lot!

Um, don't tarry, they expire on the 25th...

Happy Anniversary!!"

Eh, nothing about our helmets and jerseys since 1993 can or will ever be describable as "old school"

"Soylent Green" is more accurate

While their current uniforms really look like the Texans, the Texans blatantly ripped off the Pats uniforms that they unveiled in 2000.

@Actual Pats Fan could you take a look into this for us?
I looked into it in depth, including contacting Kraft directly, after Malcolm's legendary pick.

The team website describes the f.e. as 'traditional'

...like that STD I picked up at age 28 is 'traditional'.

Steve Nelson said it's all about the money. I agree. Kraft has lost $millions he could have made with the real thing. Our opponents liked it. What more can you say?

It's amazing Bob didn't realize Tom/Patriots wearing "Pat Patriot"/"Flying Elvis" throwbacks more often would earn him some extra bucks. They'd be flying off of the shelves.

It's a shame they never wore these once in the last 21 years:

If I never knew or cared anything about Boston, New England, the Patriots, sports, aesthetics or football at all, I might like this look.

Right it's not really old school but is any jersey before the current technically a throwback? Or no?

We've discussed this before and you told me about when the fans at the game back in the day were asked about a uniform change from the "Pat Patriot" and it was disliked, but ownership went through it anyways. Same thing applied last year with the Rams as Rams former players told the organization in a private call how the current design was terrible. Rams told the players they were going to unveil them anyways. Eric ****son asked Rams execs what the point of the conference call was?

"Flying Elvis" was the jersey I grew up on and liked them. Hated the uniforms starting in 2000, but look really good right considering what we have now.

Check those Chinese websites. They might still have em. The site that has to tweak its domain every so often.

Not what you were searching for, but the Pats Pro Shop does have an Edelman shirt on clearance for $15 in stock:

Or if you want to be unique, there is this for $11.39:

They also have some Nike shirts on 'clearance/was $99' with free shipping for Dobson and Ridley, but still way overpriced at $44.99 IMO. How much dust do those things have on them?

I’m still partial to those royal blue uniforms. That’s the era I first fell in love with this team, right from when Drew Bledsoe was drafted. Ben Coates and Chris Slade and Big Play Willie Clay and Curtis My Favorite Martin and Sam Gash and all those guys. Bledsoe’s passing record against the Vikings. That “Jambalaya” season. Those Tuna Bowl grudge matches afterward. The Henry Jones game. Pats didn’t win quite as much but I still had fun following them. Often pick those alternates when playing Madden.

Most of the old school Patriots unis were hideous. The navy and silver is a HUGE improvement on older looks.

Also, Pat was holding the franchise back. Pat is a good graphic and part of our history but he made a terrible, awful logo. It's way too complicated. From 10 or more yards away he's absolutely indecipherable, especially on a white helmet, you can't figure out what that is on the side of the helmet unless you already know, which defeats the whole point of a logo. In that sense even the rose Buccaneer was a better logo than poor old Pat.

Pat's a fantastic mascot. He should have never been the logo of a football team. A football with a tricorn hat would have been a better logo than Pat
