Kraft acknowledges drafting woes, says approach is changing

They scored 27 offensive points and 34 total. Branch was not the difference.

Missing Rodney was.
They would have likely finished with a better record and hosted the Colts - not the other way around. Remember the Colts also did not get a bye - they were #3 and we were #4. I'm sure Branch could have caught both of Caldwell's huge second half drops in the AFCCG. Without Branch Brady had a bad game against them the regular season game and that gave the Colts H2H. 4 INTs, 3 of them in Colts territory, the last one in Colts territory down by 7 with less than 2 minutes to go. Branch would have made the difference there too IMO.

Letting him go was a mistake and they paid the price for it.

Bobby Wade is a piece of **** for that dirty low hit he took on Rodney Harrison, and so is Jeff Fisher for laughing about it on the sideline. To hell with both of them. Rodney’s presence on defense was missed that playoffs. James Sanders filled in admirably but it wasn’t the same.

Alexander doesn't play if Rodney does.

Most likely a gentle evolution of his process. Possibly from a nudge from Kraft but perhaps some self-assessment.
Possible.

Eric Alexander was a big reason for the Colts comeback. Every TE on their roster joined the party that day. It was sad to watch.

It's still a mystery why that guy played that day.

Alexander is a MLB. He unfortunately still plays.

He was a cover LB. Played a ton more once Rodney went out.

I really don't recall him being out on the field much until that game.

He was a terrible player. In fact, he was the reason why Bill sought out AD to cover TE's as that was NE's massive achilles heel.

Not to mention taking a CB in Williams who wasn't needed over Metcalf, Brown and Samuel. Taking Easley over Tuitt. Dobson over Keenan Allen. Cunningham over Dunlap. Having the first pick in the 2nd round and taking Glass IR Dowling over the Jabaal Sheard. The list goes on.

The excuse of the Pats picking late is a bad one given Bill moves around more than most and there's plenty of talent they passed on.
From 2010-2019, the Patriots win 10 Division titles, 8 conference final appearances, 5 conference titles and 3 Super Bowls and this idiot is back to Dunlap being drafted in 2010.

Ian

Seriously, this one at some point has to show something related to possession of an IQ. This is obviously a troll because nobody is that dumb.

Even Kontradiction isn't this dumb. (close but not that bad). Actually, amfootball and Biffin are, so there's a conspiracy underway.

You're forgetting the biggest common dominator of those stats and that's Tom Brady. He is gone and Bill has a losing record when he doesn't play.

You've got some serious issue dude.

Not exactly but at that intellect level it works for you just not anyone else.

I only remember Alexander two things, one good, one bad.

Good: at the end of the Baltimore game in 2007 when Boller connected with Clayton on a hail mary and Alexander made the game-saving tackle near the goalline to end it and preserve the perfect record

Bad: him getting exploited throughout that AFCCG in the RCA Dome

Totally forgot about the 07 play. Good recall

Sounds like a guy/gal in check mate.

Thanks for playing though.

Check mate is when you play chess

Not playing checkers or in your case......yourself.

Had you ever been aware that 2020 was going to be a transition year, things would make sense. Since it's you it doesn't.
