KC isn’t getting out of the AFC. The Super Bowl loser hang over isn’t being overcome by these clowns. Hopefully the coaches son will be convicted and jailed by then which won’t help. Hell the Pats with the GOAT at QB and coach only just managed to get back to the Super Bowl after losing it for the first time since the 90s Bulls and the first to win it after a loss since the 72 Phins after a sucky regular season full of drama where it seemed that the team was lost and couldn’t win on the road to save their lives. And then Brady magic and a dominate o-line came together in the playoffs. Mahomes has yet to prove he has post season magic and he has no o-line btw.

That KC offense is nothing if you take out Hill and his ability to allow Mahomes to throw 65 yards to a wide open guy because the defense did something dumb and slow down Kelcee who isn’t getting any younger. (He’s older than Gronk). They lost Watkins and the receiver they drafted two years ago is mediocre. And they have no o line at the moment.

Who do you think is getting out of the AFC? Cam and the Pats? Bottom line is the Chiefs reached back-to-back super bowls and are by far the best team in the AFC. Their weakness is offensive line, but I'm sure they will address that in the draft.

I think teams that don’t change do not repeat.

They are the best team but they got lucky with injuries last year. Basically what will determine their season is Brady at the age of 44 (and if he continues to play well or hit a cliff finally) and injuries to key players. Over the course of 17 game regular season staying healthy will be tough for all teams.

I get your point, doing it in this era is very tough, only done once since the late 90s and we both know the patriots overall have been the exception to the rule for most things. To be honest, right now that would be my only real reason against tb winning next year.

I like Cam Newton and he seems genuine and easy to cheer for a comeback. Good natured and positive etc. In light of all that he was abysmal last year. Absolutely abysmal.

I don’t know what Belichicks grand plan is? He’s had a phenomenal free agency so far and it looks like he’s not done. I’m hoping for one of the big 3 qb’s, Wilson, Lance or Jones to be landed in the draft.

I’d like Cam to be around to mentor that qb but I just can’t imagine Newton doing it on the field at a pro bowl level. However, It eould be great to be totally wrong and have Cam shock the world. If BB feels thats the direction I will concede to his belief that he can make it work.
Cam can mentor but should probably be a QB coach ....I hope he proves me wrong ....really do....but I think his best days are behind him snd of course he was legendarily bad last year.....feel like we need new QB this year!

Newton is not a guy I would want mentoring any young player.

He is a leader and a guy that players gravitate to, but he is not a mentor.

I'm curious if this is from a poll that you ran sourcing everyone in football? And do you really believe that Bill's decision making is limited to and based on making

So make an illogical rant about Cam and Bill, and then deflect when called out on it...gotcha.
Maybe you should watch some games before posting like a moron....did you even watch one game last year?! What makes you so confident in Cam going forward Chief ....besides “because BB likes him”....what did you learn from last year’s performance gives you hope and promise? (And please don’t give me more time in training camp ....Cam is a Veteran)

Those years that he played his best were some awful years for the Dolphins run defense. He was posting solid grades, but the run D was putrid.
I’m not really understanding why so many are assuming Godchaux is the answer to our run D woes.

He’s promising, but far from a sure thing.

Agreed....Cam proved to be a great teammate....he was great with young players...he was a good leader in the year after Brady.....but unfortunately he put up some of worst numbers as QB in history of league.....I’m sorry but he was awful.....

KC is the best team in the AFC. The Super Bowl hangover issue was recently beaten by the Patriots. You'll have to pardon me if I don't immediately dismiss the Chiefs' ability to do the same, especially since they can use "But we had no O-line" as a rallying cry.

I literally talked about the Pats and how their circumstances of breaking the hangover were unique due to having the GOATs at the two most important parts of the team and even then the season was a struggle. Seahawks looked like the best team in the NFC after 49 and what happened next? Same with the Falcons after 51. There are way more examples of the losing team in the Super Bowl holding their head up high and going “well we’re still the best team in our conference we’ll be back.” And then they don’t. Think that prime Manning and the 14-2 Colts didn’t think they’d moon walk through the 2010 season after losing against the Saints?

Can he play OT?

6 game suspension in 2019 for a 2017 domestic violence accusation. Where else was he going to sign? Not enough evidence to charge him but the NFL then conducted their own investigation.

Chiefs are still the class of the AFC and don't see a team that has potential to knock them off. However, it will be interesting to see how Mahomes adjusts the moment Hill either starts slowing down or isn't on the team anymore. Their offense relies on the deep ball and they are the most impatient offense since the late 90's-2000's Rams.

oh my god did the Chiefs really sign ANOTHER domestic abuser? Good lord.

Speaking of the Rams you think they expected to fall apart right after losing the Super Bowl after 3 amazing seasons in a row? Of course not. But s.hit happens and it tends to happen to Super Bowl losers.

Say Mahomes gets hurt doing something stupid AGAIN, they drop a couple games, and suddenly they don’t have a bye and play a hot team in the first round. You don’t know.

Deus just included the Pats in his post to make it look better. He only really cares about how this affects Brady and the Bucs.
Hes a fraud. Always has been.

I forgot to mention Kelce as well. He won't be around forever. Those are the two main cogs for Mahomes.

Like the Rams, their fate will be determined by how well they draft. The Rams were awful and that's what their demise was.

They were so dominant on both sides of the ball from December on. Usually great teams eventually are figured out by the league but in this case it's like the other way around. The Bucs figured the league out themselves. Crazy.

Playing dogsh*t teams the last 4 games of the season, after dropping to 7-4, has a funny way of helping a team to “figure out the league”. They then received a first round bye against the Skins, and were very fortunate to play on the road in New Orleans and Green Bay without any fans in the stands. The Superdome crowd in particular could have totally changed that game. Finally, they were one of the healthiest teams in the league last year.

In summary, they are defense was firing on all cylinders throughout the playoffs and they deserved to win the SB but a lot of dominoes fell their way last year.

Where’s the cap problems for KC? ‍♂️ Looks like they’re reloading again.

I don’t get how Patriots fans can defect to the Bucs. You were a Brady fan then not a Patriots fan. Can I respect what Tom did with the Bucs this season yes.
Did I feel resentment towards him for it absolutely. Would I wear a Tampa Tom Jersey not even if I was vacationing in Florida. It feels dirty I would wear a Jets Jersey or Ravens Jersey before that. Maybe some can’t relate but I find the way it went down including pulling Gronk out of retirement and forcing a trade to Tampa. The Radio jabs on Howard Stern about Belichick the whining behind closed doors to Bruce who’s run his mouth nauseating. Love Tom
Even named my oldest after him but that Ageless warlock in Tampa is not the same Tommy who was a 6th round pick and worked from the bottom up.
