Looks like from ABs Instagram post, both he and Fournette will be back with the Bucs.

As much as I like Fournette, I'm curious how White would do in a reunion with Brady.

Is it a given that White is leaving the Patriots? Is it because Pat's don't want to pay him or because White wants to leave(maybe for a chance to have better stats with a better QB)?

White signed a one year deal to return to the Patriots.

Well that likely removes them from selecting a tackle. Maybe they draft a guard somewhere in the draft.
I would imagine that they'd draft one in the top rounds as they are paying a lot of money on their oline and will have to lower it by 2022.

Incredible how Licht focused on bringing the top (6/8) FAs back.

Bucs have re-signed 14 of their own 33 FAs, with 6 being key starters. They've signed 0 FAs from other teams. Under contract (w/ Suh): 58. Draft picks: 8

Pats have re-signed 11 of their own 33 FAs, with 6 being key starters. They've signed 13 FAs from other teams. Under contract (w/ White): 78. Draft picks: 10

Licht has a long way to get to 90.

The Bucs getting to 90 is going to be about as close to meaningless as we've seen it since the Patriots in 2007-2008. Outside of, maybe, another RB and WR, it's going to be almost 100% camp bodies and draftees from here forward.

Suh at that price is a steal he’s not prime Suh but he’s still a beast they’ll be no rush offense vs that line
He was good in the regular season but in the playoffs he was a total beast and I would argue looked very close to prime Suh. Maybe Vea helped out in that department. They will have to not over use him in regular season and save him for the playoffs.[/QUOTE]

Bucs have been signing 13-15 UDFAs every year for the last few years - will go a long way towards filling out the 90 man roster, along with the usual low cost vet signings. Starters and key backups are pretty much set assuming AB and Fournette return.

He didn’t choose anyone over anyone. The Bucs never offered him a contract.

Happy he’s back in NE. Once the Pats get a QB they might have a chance to reach the playoffs.

As for the champs they are stacked and ready to make a serious run at a repeat.
Are the Pat's and Brady going to play tag team on the Chiefs and Mahomes to knock them out of the playoffs? After their 2019 SB win they were talking about a dynasty and winning 3, 4, 5 SB. Funny thing is that if it weren't for Pat's and Brady, Mahomes and the Chiefs would probably have won 2 SB and maybe 3 by now.

Yeah, I would have preferred they try to upgrade that spot - he was pretty bad early in the season. He got better late, but it still looked like they were giving him help pretty frequently.

Still, it does free up over $10 million of cap space for this year, and it's unlikely that they could find a better LT than him for 2021.
Gronk helps out the line tremendously with Smith being a benefactor. Buc fans were surprised at his contract but the value of Gronks blocking is so underrated.

They must have a lot of confidence that Donovan Smith is going to improve because he was a turnstile at points last year. Not pretty.

He was extremely good from November on no need to break up the line that dominated

Exactly and he was near the top of rankings in double teams that ain’t happening with
Vea back

The D-Line and really the entire defense was so much better when Vea returned. With him on the field that defense is certainly a top 3 run stopping defense.

Wow great job Tampa Bay

James White chooses Belichick over Brady
White didn't have any other choices. I'm glad that he's back but not because it's a chance to troll this thread.

suddenly my future bets for SB winner next year with Tampa and NE doesnt look so crazy :D big payout if either team wins

Like you chose your broad over Gisele. Neither of you had a chance because neither the Bucs nor Gisele were offering.

I love seeing those who are still so butthjrt over Brady getting 7 having to resort to trolling

Has a championship team ever kept this kind of continuity in the salary cap era? Maybe even before it? The Pats never did even between 03 and 04.

What the Bucs have done so far is kind of astonishing. The departure from their past pay-as-you-go model also has to do with the fact that the Bucs will likely play before a packed stadium next year and the additional revenue that will bring in.
