Similar to Chris Hogan. He played excellent at WR3 - WR4...what he was signed for. He didn’t do to well at WR1 and WR2...but the team had no choice due to injuries. And of course the board killed him for it.

Problem is McMillan is just better. I don't expect Bentley to play much now. Bentley was surprisingly not good at stopping the point of attack. I don't see him having a role at all behind 5 other LBs.

also he had some awful tackling against rb in the first half which should be given his size one of his strengths. I have to admit he improved there over the season but still too slow and liability in coverage.

Would of liked Reynolds here.
I don’t really see any free agent Wrs worth grabbing
Can someone upload the revised list of available wrs again.
No particular order..I’m sure there are others that I may have omitted.

1) T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis Colts
2) Antonio Brown, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
3) Sammy Watkins, Kansas City Chiefs
4) Adam Humphries, Tennessee Titans
5) Demarcus Robinson, Kansas City Chiefs
6) Marquise Goodwin, San Francisco 49ers
7) Golden Tate, New York Giants
8) Chris Conley, Jacksonville Jaguars
9) Cordarrelle Patterson, Chicago Bears
10) Alshon Jeffery, Philadelphia Eagles
11) Damiere Byrd, New England Patriots

Of the remaining free agents wouldnt mind the following

Sammy Watkins on a REALLY cheap contract if he can stay healthy he helps this offense alot
Fournette (who i think is a pipedream) so either James Connor or Duke Johnson
AJ Bouye - could use one more CB in the rotation (will likely reup JMac)
Melvin Ingram - keep him away from KC and hes a beast

Well agree 100 percent on LF
Watkins Chris Conley Patterson all get much needed size and speed on the field.
Would love CP back hair for ST alone.
Adam Humphries is a jag to me right now.
I don’t hate the idea of TY or Alshon on a heavily incentive contract.
My heart is selling my draft binkie Conley will become a Patriot.

Trading two first round picks for Sammy Watkins in 2014 = overpay
Signing him to a 3 year 48 million dollar deal in 2018 = overpay
Signing him today for 1 year close to vet min? value

He’s a year removed from 280+ yards in three playoff games. Curious where he lands.

I would also bring back Byrd. He's a known commodity, someone who can provide a floor for your WR4 position. Bring him in with another vet and a rookie drafted in the later rounds, and you know the WORST you're going to get is a guy who caught 600 yards from Cam Newton. That's something I can live with at WR4.

2020 Pats were slow AF on both sides of the line. How much did the team improve speedwise in this FAcy? Agholor seems to be the obvious speedster added. Who else?

The Patriots started their dynasty without a "legit #1". They had a #2 and a #3 and a #4 with marginal TE help. Even in 2003, they didn't have a "Legit #1" They had 2 #2s and 2 #3s. An argument can be made that Branch established himself as a #1 and Givens as a #2 in 2004. But it wasn't until 2007 with the addition of Moss that the Pats had a "legit #1." And we only got to the big game ONCE with him. And he disappeared in that game along with the entire offense.

And, I'll be honest. They'd be better off getting someone like Waddle, Smith, Chase, or Moore in the draft than adding anyone that's still available in FA.

If your skill player #3/4/5 is better than the defense's pass defender #3/4/5......you win.

This what people don't really get. Scheme and moderate salaries always win out.

Not a ton of straight line burner speed (other than Agholor), but looking at positions that are faster this year than last year:

Agholor > Byrd (if Byrd isn't resigned)
Bourne > Harry (that's not saying much, but Bourne seems to play faster than his 40 speed. He's at least quicker)
Smith > Asiasi or Keene (at least what we've seen of them so far)
Judon and Van Noy > Any of our LB's from last year

Where we've lost speed thus far is RB (unless Taylor makes a leap for a bigger role), until we replace/resign White.

Im afraid this list is too short for our @ChrisR2223.
His 53 roster comprises of 3 QBs (all starters mind you) and 50 WRs :)

I want absolutely nothing to do with Sammy Watkins. He’s absolutely bats.hit insane in a bad way.

Yes this just won’t do.
I need probowlers at every WR spot all 10 we spots on my final roster.
And you were close I need 4 all pro QBs and a I rotate a different one each Quarter that way the defense is thrown off they can’t get too comfortable.

Do you guys see another WR signed? I don't. I think we're be running a lot of 12 personnel, don't really see them running much 3 WRs. I think WR depth will be Agholor, Bourne, Meyers, Jules, Gunner, Slate (if he counts). I don't think Harry cracks the roster, especially given his lack of ST value (I know he returned punts in college but, not sure he's dynamic enough to do it in the NFL). Maybe we draft a guy.

Maybe if Jules retires or is cut, they add a guy. Gunner was kicking ass in TC last year, so maybe there's a chance he can contribute something on offense.

I think they’ll be drafting one at this point rather than obtain one from free agency.
