Thus making him a free agent. And I thought you couldn't sign free agents until free agency begins.
That only applies for players whose contracts expire (because the contracts don't officially expire until the start of free agency). Players who are cut can sign anytime since they're not under contract anywhere

Ah, gotcha. Thank you.

The Bills are keeping Milano

I will have to practice that ...lol

Rapaport is reporting it....sorry

Could Milano have gotten more money in free agency? 24 guaranteed from the bills. Making 11 million per year.

Milano is so overrated. Can't play in the box or tackle

Will this impact what Van Noy could be asking for or expecting ??

OK, my bad ....I just saw that both were classed as OLB's so assumed they would be similar players I guess I did not look far enough into the difference.

Totally different players

Milano is more a cover/speed linebacker, Van noy plays alot of different roles. Never saw Milano as a fit on the Pats D personally. Between the two Van Noy fits the mold alot better for us

The top 2 LBs forgoing FA and re-signing home slightly below projected $ .. probably meaning this will be a slow LB market after 2019 & 2020 hangovers..

Weird thing about Milano and the Bills is that the coaching staff was down on him for awhile. He only came back to start out of desperation. This is what winning does for you. You start to believe the wins come from the players on the field and you go against your own assessment. Which is how it should be. I'm just very surprised about Milano. He's been shown the door so many times up here.

Damnit
I wouldn’t of paid him that though maybe 7 mill I was thinking

Would bring him back, especially since he doesn't count against the comp formula. So many vets are being cut, Bill could probably damn-near only sign cut players.
