Yeah hard to say. Colts were good last year but with Rivers at QB. Wentz at this point is no Rivers. Maybe he can get back to where he was but you certainly can’t expect it. Garoppolo has at least been solid when healthy. Again though - big IF since he is still a 49er.I don't think Carson Wentz is going to entice Hunter Henry. If the Pats trade for Garoppolo, I think Jimmy is more attractive than Wentz.

As one source with knowledge of the dynamics has explained it to PFT, the fact that the franchise-tag deadline wasn’t extended by the league and the union can be interpreted as an indication that the cap won’t significantly exceed the $180 million floor. Per the source, the cap will at most be $183 million.

I am not sold on the Pats trading for Garoppolo. I am not sure Belichick is as high on him as the media and fans think he is. He might have been in the past, but I gotta wonder if Garoppolo's injury history would scare Belichick off. And Garoppolo did come up small in a lot of cases when the 49ers needed him even in the Super Bowl season (especially in the Super Bowl).
But I think the Patriots' QB situation will be far better this year (how can it get worse). And they went 7-9 with a QB who couldn't throw the ball.
Just because Spotrac is "quoted throughout the sports media" doesn't mean they are accurate. I put more trust in Miguel and OTC regarding the cap than I do Spotrac. Miguel has stated that OTC is better than Spotrac.
Sorry, but I believe you're more likely to win the lottery with a monkey pooping on a Bingo card than you are relying on anything Spotrac has to say.
Dude you're arguing with yourself again. Stop it.
Maybe but these were posts #962 and #964 in which you threw out a hypothetical that you immediately refuted. Given that, would the Pats still be more attractive to Golladay than the Colts?I am not at all. One case I am throwing out a hypothetical where the Pats might be more attractive than the Colts. The other is stating that I am not sure if it will happen. The Pats are going to upgrade the QB position one way or another. Garoppolo is just the most prominent theory right now.
Sorry you can't keep up.

Because we can't prognosticate the future, are the Colts more attractive to Golladay than the Pats, currently, as in right now.Is Jimmy Garoppolo a better QB than Carson Wentz? IMO, yes. So the Pats would be more attractive with Garoppolo and Belichick than Wentz and Reich.
Will the Pats trade for him. I have my doubts, but they could very well. I am not in Belichick's head. I just wonder if he is as high on him as the media and fans think he is.
Wouldn't disagree with that. But the fact is they showed what a team with just mediocre skill player talent can do when they had one of the top OL's in the league. They had a great run game and a skilled vet who could manage the game. I expect the Pats 2021 to look a lot like the Colts 2020Because we can't prognosticate the future, are the Colts more attractive to Golladay than the Pats, currently, as in right now.
Probably depends upon his relationship with Patricia and his coaching style.Maybe but these were posts #962 and #964 in which you threw out a hypothetical that you immediately refuted. Given that, would the Pats still be more attractive to Golladay than the Colts?
It involved Goodell 50 year old scotch 3 Dallas prostitutes straight from Jerry’s stable and some Nose candy from just past the wall.In the case of Galladay and his projected 20MM/yr salary, you have put this in perspective when so many teams are going into FA with less that 10MM in cap space (I think just over half) and it take 6-8MM to sign your draft picks. And about 10 of the of the 16 teams left don't have much more available. So there are about 5-6 teams out there who have the capability to take on that kind of contract. And anyone who does won't be left with much, and remember EVERY team has their own FA's to sign.
On the other hand I just read where that even though the Cowboys are paying their QB over $40MM/yr, the way they structured it cleared $15MM off their 2021 cap. I don't know how they did that, but they did that.
Clayborn out in Cleveland too. Not a great day for ex Patriots
I think that team had way more talent than the Patriots but I agree it's a formula for how to proceed w/o a top rated QB.Wouldn't disagree with that.
