Also reports of the Packers, Niners and Cardinals calling about Gilmore.
Would only make sense that Gilmore is involved in any hypothetical Jimmy G trade.
If we can get Pitts or Waddle at 15 and get Jimmy G that would be the start of something.
O.K. Cousin, If the rumors I have also heard, that the Cards have inquired about Gilmore's services, then I have a three Team plan. The Falcons want to trade down from pick #4.
Consider this for your Drafting pleasure. I understand that a pick may have been offered...Say the Cards second rounder pick # 49 which has a trade value or 410 points. Let's think a little outside the box.
I say to the Cards. "Oh ye of only 5 Draft picks".....perhaps we can make this more interesting. Mr. Keim (GM). we will give you Mr. Gilmore and a few additional picks for your 1st Round pick at #16 (1,000 points)
We have ten (10) Draft picks which we will never keep.
Mr Keim, we will give you our 2nd round pick #46 (440 points) plus a 4th Rounder you do not have Mr. Keim which is #141 (36.5 points) which equates to a final Gilmore value of 523.5 points which is in the second round value (so the Cards pick up an additional 2nd, plus a missing 4th Round pick and Gilmore for surrendering 1st round pick #16.
Now.......Swap out first Round pick #15 (1050 points) plus the Cards 1rst Round pick #16 (1000 points) to the Falcons (who want to trade down) for first Round pick #4 (1800 points value) plus the Falcons 3rd round pick #68 (250 points) which is a perfect fit points wise. Now the rebuilding Falcons get two first rounders.
We wind up with Pick #4, a third rounder pick #68 in exchange for our first rounder, our second rounder a 4th (we have three) and Gilmore.
Now let's play some more:
1- I am trading our 4th Round pick #125 plus Cannon (RT) to the Ravens for Orlando Brown Jr (who only wants to be LT)
2-I am trading our 3rd Round pick #96 plus our WR N'Keal Harry to the cash strapped and least amount of Draft picks (4!!!!!) the Saints, for WR Michael Thomas and DE Cameron Jordan. The Saints have no choice. They must lower the CAP. We have cash plus Draft picks.
3-Finally, I am going to the Eagles and offer up our 6th round pick #195, for TE Zach Ertz. They have CAP issues as well.
So we wind up with 1st round pick #4, 3rd Round pick #68 plus our own picks of #116 in the 4th, #155 in the 5th, 193 in the 6th and #237 in the 7th Round........plus a player haul of young Orlando Brown Jr. at LT, Cameron Jordan at DE, Michael Thomas at WR and TE Zach Ertz.
How did I do?

P.S. Now that the Cards signed Watt, a top starting CB could make the Cards defense scary.
