What Belichick doesn't have is the need to explain and justify himself to others. That makes him very unusual in modern America.

That works better for Bill when the team's winning though. Now that the team is back in the pack he's taking some hits. That attitude used to bother me at first, but then they started winning.

Two of the best quotes about Bill came from the book "Education of a Coach." Here they are;
