How desperate would the LOLphins have to be to trade 18 and 35 for 15 and a bag of footballs? [Or did you do something like throw in Gilmore?]

lol no, they for whatever reason accepted it (its PFF not sure about their trade value chart^^) I just wanted to get as many picks as possible in the early 2-3 rounds of the draft, best offer I was able to negotiate

and yes the forfeited 3rd round hurts really bad when you see who is still on the table and you cannot pick-.-

I did a 5 rd mock draft where I went for defense mostly and Offensive Line. I am afraid i did not select a qb, tried to trade down in the First what failed and could not trade up for Jones. I think O Line and Defense could get better with this draft. Move Onwenu to LG with Mayfield at RT and resign Andrews and the O Line should be fine. Paye looks like a Wise Upgrade. I hope tufele can provide better run defense next to guy who we hopefully resign. I wanted a NT like Shelvin, wasn't able to draft him, but tufele is a good value for the 4th. Hayes Brown Hutcherson hopefully provide some depth, maybe starting potential at some point.

I think the best way for us to go forward is to use the draft to rebuild the defense and offensive line. We use free agency to rebuild the offensive skill positions.

the first three picks in your mock make us a better team in 2021. And I love the Hayes pick.

Love the first 6 picks...Hayes would be a real nice value at 144, especially because we probably need to double-up at DE...Not as familiar with Hutcherson, but we might need to double-up on the OL too...

If Bill can add a vet QB & TE to go with Jones, the 2 WRs & 2 OLmen, then this offense can become respectable almost immediately...And adding 4 more quality bodies to the front 7 will help weed-out the pretenders from the contributors...

Yeah I agree. I did not see the value for offense when i was on the clock and i think like you said WR/TE might get adressed in FA or at least more likely in FA than draft. Wouldn't mind a qb pick as well just wasn't there for me with a trade for MJ or trade up.

Yeah exactly my thought as well, DE and o Line could use an Double dip. Some Tackle/Guard dude and maybe a Guard/Center versality linemen. I love Mayfield and Paye. Those are looking like starters to me and good ones.

I like your mock but couple of thoughts :
I doubt pitt will draft trask in the first - can See an OT here or CB/Edge; maybe Jenkins idk
I can See NO go WR - Moore would fit nicely here
I can't See GB go RB with the first pick. I have to guess OT or Defense here. Nick Bolton maybe idk

Good Job

I did best available need for this draft

Apologies if this is a bit off topic but I believe that today is the Clemson Pro day and Trev. Lawrence will be present but not doing many of the drills. This is the first Pro day I have heard of so far so maybe interesting for some of the other players and any other Pro days

It's his own personal pro day. He needs surgery, and doing this now will get him a head start on recovery. Other pro days (including for the rest of Clemson's players) will start in about a month.

@Sciz ......thanks for clearing that up , I was getting too excited .......lol

Matt Miller's mock draft based on what he has heard from his sources:

#15: New England Patriots — LB JEREMIAH OWUSU-KORAMOAH, NOTRE DAME

Analysis: The biggest question surrounding the New England Patriots this off-season will be what the team does at quarterback. And as of February 11 there aren’t many good answers, but in talks with scouts and league decision-makers, the overwhelming belief is that the Patriots will acquire another veteran as opposed to drafting a first-rounder at the position.

Marcus Mariota, currently a Las Vegas Raider, makes sense. So does Jimmy Garoppolo if the 49ers were to trade or release him.

So as of now, the pick here is not a quarterback. That might change as more intel becomes available, but the smart money is on Bill Belichick trying to build up his roster before swinging for a quarterback early on. And think about this—Belichick is 68 years old. He doesn’t want to rebuild with a rookie quarterback. He wants to win.

A pick that helps the Patriots right now is defensive weapon Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah from Notre Dame. A 6’1”, 220-pound missile, JOK has lined up as a STAR, a linebacker and a safety. He can be deployed in a myriad of alignments and assignments.

And when you’re dealing with Josh Allen twice a year, defenders with versatility and big play potential are a need.

#46. New England Patriots — DL Christian Barmore, Alabama

#111. New England Patriots — WR Tylan Wallace, Oklahoma State

#142. New England Patriots — S Richard LeCounte, Georgia

#173. New England Patriots — EDGE Elerson Smith, Northern Iowa

#207. New England Patriots — WR Whop Philyor, Indiana

Koramoah seems a bit a reach with 15 (if you want him, trade down few picks in the first and pick up another 2nd or 3rd)
Barmore will not be available at 46, he will be long gone in first round

I wouldn't select Karamoah before end of first maybe. We have a similar Size player in Dugger who could take the weak side LB/hybrid SS LB type role JOK could play as well. I would rather get a Zaven Collins type of LB. The reason is in our Scheme we need some bigger LB with only playing two DT and DE not exactly stout. Also i think it was @BaconGrundleCandy who wrote after the Bama vs. Notre Dame game that Bama managed to scheme the offense that JOK is out of position to have an impact.
