Rotational Player and Threatening Starter's Job
PFN have J'marr Chase dropping to us at 15 and Mac Jones in the 2nd. Which would be nice.
As much as a guy like Devonta would be amazing to land in the 1st - I just can't trust that he'd turn into anything other than a major bust.
Pats just can't maximize WR talent. I hate it. But haven't we seen enough to prove it.
If we'd have drafted Metcalf, he'd be exactly where Harry is right now. It's a curse, or a pride thing... I don't know, but it's real.
Not unless he's still there when it's our turn to pick in the 5th.I know we have Harris and Sony but what if Najee Harris is on the board and our turn to pick , do you think BB would consider drafting him ???
Fan of Lance a mix of Mahommes and Jackson is his ceilingCBS has us taking Trey Lance at 15. Mac Jones goes to Washington at 19. Lance seems a risk based on quality of opposition and small body of work. However, most drafts have him going top 15 or thereabouts so he must be worth a look.
The draft starts with Trevor Lawrence but Falcons, 49ers, Pats and Washington also add QBswww.cbssports.com
Just did a quick mock on fanspeak. Just chose BPA, according to their rankings, for every pick. Worked out pretty well...
15: R1 P15 WR Jaylen Waddle - Alabama
46: R2 P14 LB Zaven Collins - Tulsa
97: R3 P33 DL Jordan Smith - UAB
117: R4 P15 OT Liam Eichenberg - Notre Dame
135: R4 P33 EDGE Joshua Kaindoh - Florida State
141: R4 P39 LB Nick Bolton - Missouri
155: R5 P14 TE Charlie Kolar - Iowa State
192: R6 P13 WR Charleston Rambo - Oklahoma
237: R7 P15 QB Jamie Newman - Georgia
Belichick doesn't care much about what he already has/lacks at a position. After all, he double-dipped in 2019 at cornerback. And he finished this year's draft by ignoring WRs and taking three OLs in a row.You think the Pats would use 3 picks to draft rookie TE's and truly not know what they're getting? At this point with the depth of free agent TE's available wouldn't you agree that would be the safer route?
