NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION OFFICIAL Super Bowl Bucs/Chiefs Game Thread

Yes, but from now on, in any top 10 Brady greatest achievement list #1 will be SB 55.
I don't think so. The first SB win should be #1 followed by the comeback against Atlanta.

Look who was at the SB last night. With A-Rod and Aaron Judge. Nobody with masks. WTF

Did Kraft take a celebratory stroll to Orchids of Asia post-game?

I'd have to disagree. At the age of 43 in a pandemic year, winning a super bowl his first year with a new team in a new conference, last night was his greatest achievement. #2 should be SB 51.

Welcome back Tommy.

Brady’s success in Tampa reinforces the legitimacy of the Patriots dynasty and makes the Patriots haters look even more ridiculous.
Yup.

It was never a "system". It was talent all along.

I would say it's talent and a system. Talent needs to be utilised the right way. No matter how talented a player is, he is never going to be good at everything.

It's up there.

I have a hard time putting it above 28-3 though.
When it was 28-9 halfway through the 3rd last night I wondered if Mahomes could pull a Brady and make a comeback nearly as great...

Turns out he couldn't.

There can be only one.

Finally got to watch the condensed version of the game.

Congrats to Tom and Gronk to a great season ender. With each of the previous playoff victories there were some question marks (lol WSH, Saints turning it over 4 times, GB uncharacteristic many mistakes in redzone + Pettine special before halftime) but not with this one. This was a full team performance from the Bucs that suffocated KC on almost every level.

The loss should also serve as a reminder to the Chiefs how difficult it is to consistently win in this league even if you have an extraordinary QB. Players get injured, balls bounce the wrong way and flags sometimes go seemingly against you. Also with the usual ebb and flow of some teams window closing and other's opening it is just extremely challenging to be top dog every year in a sustained way.

Even if Mahomes would have gotten his second ring yesterday it still would have been a crazy difficult task to overtake Brady through so much uncertainty. Now it is more or less an impossibility based on titles alone.

Finally, I can't help but love Winfield taunting Hill. **** Tyreek.

A pretty whacky season found a pretty deserving champion. Off to a new season we go...

There’s the problem. Stop listening to these so called “analysts” who more often than not have no idea what they’re talking about.

At the end of the day there is no right or wrong answer as to what Brady's greatest achievement is. It's opinion. We'll always say SB 51, but the Bucs and their fans will say SB 55. This is one of the main reasons why I didn't want Brady to succeed in Tampa. I would have preferred an NFCCG loss - just enough to prove that Brady is not a system QB but not enough to win a super bowl in his first year there.

I don’t really know what you are talking about. Yes he had some drops in the playoff but I think completely the opposite. Brady has a better connection with Godwin than with Evans. He had 840 yds in 12 games that would have been 1120 yards over a full season. Without the injuries, he would have been their best receiver. Evans is kind of a one trick pony in my mind. Godwin is much more versatile
Agree with regular season & versatility but the season numbers ignore the fact that Godwin disappeared in the 4 game playoff run. Several big drops. He has an obvious problem when it's crunch time.

Stop worrying about what other people think. I happen to think 51 is his greatest achievement but I’m sure others think it’s 55. Who cares. Just enjoy watching this man play football for a few more years. There’s a good chance we’re never going to see this level of greatness again.

The analysts are already starting to talk about SB 55 being Brady's greatest achievement.
The ones who will always hate Bill and the Pats. I actually think 49 vs the Legion of Boom was his very best
