NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION OFFICIAL NFC CHAMPIONSHIP THREAD - Buccaneers at Packers

I didn't realize Rodgers was 1-4 in championship games. Tell me again how he's even brought up as the best ever? Awful.
Bitterness

this crew has clearly decided players on the field are playing, and they are not getting involved

i'm ok with that.......but it's setting them up to make a hugely decisive call down the stretch.......players respond to how tight or how loose a game is called, they are going to ratchet it up a little and push the line now.......really, really hope this crew doesn't end up throwing a late flag that really, really influence the outcome

the no call on the INT was HUGE......but it was also mid-2nd quarter....lots of time left........letting them play all game and then tossing a flag late is something i could see happening right now; i don't care who it goes against, i just hope it doesn't happen.....this is a fun game to watch so far

hahaha

Bill must be pissed. Probably calling the lions or niners right now. I'd Brady wins a superbowl and Bill has another losing season his legacy will take a huge hit

BB definitely looks like he DUMPED the GOAT too early! He should have offered Tommy the 2 year contract, but as usual PRIDE got in the way!

Brady's 25m dollar salary BTW is only tied for 15th in the entire NFL, yet he's entering into his 10th Superbowl, and he does this in his 1st year with a NEW team!

Brady has been below average so far 3 picks, 2 of the TDS were broken coverages and he’s around 50% completion. Mostly brilliant?

At the point I made that post, he was mostly brilliant. Wasn’t very good from that point on though

Just because the refs officiated the game differently most of the rest of the game, doesn’t take away from the fact that was the correct call. Jersey was clearly grabbed and interferes with the play. Take it up with the officials.

Sure it does. Consistency and objectivity is the bedrock of any enforcement of rules/regulations.

So long as the rules are consistently enforced, some deviation from the letter of the law is acceptable.

Deviating from the letter of the law 98% of the time but enforcing it the other 2%, will naturally upset the system.

It’d be the same if this was any other team. That was poor officiating, point blank. Call it all game or don’t call it at all.

No mask for Tom lol

It was the most blatant hold all day

Smart move by Brady going to Tampa, dumb move by Belichick letting him go. Chess vs Checkers.

Brady back meant Thuney and others going. Not sure why people want to ignore the whole thing with the cap, Brady wasn't gonna give the Pats the $10m cap hit discount he had been

The Fox crew annoys me.
I used to think maybe they hate the AFC, but after tonight I think they hate Brady.
For them to whine about a guy who is pulling someones shirt so blatantly was really bad,

Good job Bucs.

Gotta root for Buff. If mahomes defeats Brady in a SB he will already be called the GOAT

I wonder what Linda’s next post will say :D
