2021 Mock Drafts

You think the Pats would use 3 picks to draft rookie TE's and truly not know what they're getting? At this point with the depth of free agent TE's available wouldn't you agree that would be the safer route?
Pitts seems as highly regarded as Gronk was.

Pitts seems as highly regarded as Gronk was.

Gronkowski was more of a complete tight end coming out of college.

Pitt’s is definitely a receiver first and foremost that shows some interest in blocking.

I do not think Pitt’s makes it out of the top ten, unless teams are scared of his concussion history. He is the real deal if he is healthy,

Devonta Smith

If he makes it past Miami at 3, then someone in Miami needs to be fired.

the ideal draft for Miami runs through Alabama. They should draft wr smith and rb Harris in the first round. Then draft ol leatherwood and ol brown in the second round.

The Pats aren't picking at #26. This projection is meaningless.

If smith and waddle are available at 15, then something bad must be in their medicals.

in that case a trade down is perfectly acceptable.

Daniel Jeremiah's first mock has the QBs at 1, 2, 4, and 8, with Micah Parsons to the Patriots at 15.

First time poster here gentlemen, don't beat me up too much. Did my first mock of the year today on fanspeak, let me know what you think. I'll be the first to tell you I need to do some more work on late round prospects. Big 3 receivers were gone here by #15 and I attacked this as if Bill finds a way to address QB via trade/free agency because I think that will be the most likely outcome.

Round 1 - (TRADE #15 to NYJ for #23 and RD 2 Pick 2)
#23 - Kyle Pitts - TE/Florida

Round 2 - (TRADE RD 2 Pick 2 to Denver for RD 2 Pick 8 and Rd 3 Pick 7)
#8 - Alijah Vera-Tucker - OL/USC
#14 - Zaven Collins - LB/Tulsa

Round 3
#7 - Amon-Ra St. Brown - WR/USC
#33 - Dillon Radunz - OL/NDSU

Round 4
#15 - Ihmir Smith-Marsette - WR/Iowa
#33 - LaBryan Ray - DL/Bama
#39 - Kylin Hill - RB/Miss State

Round 5
#14 - Thomas Graham - CB/Oregon

Round 6
#13 - KJ Costello - QB/Miss State

Round 7
#15 - Dax Milne - WR/BYU

Daniel Jeremiah's first mock has the QBs at 1, 2, 4, and 8, with Micah Parsons to the Patriots at 15.

this would be a huge win for bb. Parsons has maturity issues, but is a true sideline to sideline run defender, can cover some and would excel as an occasional pass rusher/blitzer.

Pitts seems as highly regarded as Gronk was.
I think he’s more highly regarded coming out of college than Gronk was. I think he will be a stud in the NFL, but it’s tough prognosticating if he will come anywhere near Gronk’s success. During Gronk’s prime, when healthy, he was the greatest TE I’ve ever seen (been watching the NFL since 1968). His dominance as a receiver AND as a blocker, makes him the greatest TE in NFL history.

Parsons has ELITE skills as a defender. He’s a beast. My #1 priority is a QB, even if we have to trade up for a guy like Lance (my dream is trading up to top 5 to get Zach Wilson). IF we don’t take a QB in the 1st round, I really would like an explosive offensive weapon, either Pitts or Waddle at #15. BUT, if we wind up selecting a defender, I’d be thrilled with Parsons.

Love Dax Milne, would be a 7th round steal. I also like St Brown in the 3rd (don’t think he’ll last until the 3rd). LOVE Collins, he’s a great defender. KJ Costello had some success, but he’s not the kind of QB you build around, I rather take a chance at a skilled offensive position, like WR or TE.

Doubtful that Pitts makes it all the way down to #23...Really like your 2nd- & 3rd-round picks plus the Iowa WR in the 4th...Not real familiar with those after him, so like you I have more work to do on the late-round prospects...

Starting doing some mock sims recently on PFF, because they include comp picks and allow trades...

Did a small trade-down to recoup our 3rd-rounder and still was able to draft Mac Jones...also doubled-down on WRs & OLmen...Didn't select a TE because I feel the best way to improve that position is via free agency...Added a beefy DT because Fat Thor feckin sucks, plus 3 more front-7 dudes & a CB for the pipeline...But NO Safeties!

Wow! I would be ecstatic if bb did this.

those first seven picks are money! Shelvin was a beast in the sec.

Turner is a bit of a sleeper. Great pick.

I did a 5 rd mock draft where I went for defense mostly and Offensive Line. I am afraid i did not select a qb, tried to trade down in the First what failed and could not trade up for Jones. I think O Line and Defense could get better with this draft. Move Onwenu to LG with Mayfield at RT and resign Andrews and the O Line should be fine. Paye looks like a Wise Upgrade. I hope tufele can provide better run defense next to guy who we hopefully resign. I wanted a NT like Shelvin, wasn't able to draft him, but tufele is a good value for the 4th. Hayes Brown Hutcherson hopefully provide some depth, maybe starting potential at some point.

This draft would be dope for sure, like the guys you drafted esp the value for AVT and Marshall. the trades are looking a bit unrealistic but don't know

I'll buy. Not to excited by Costello. Showed some good at Hula but also some bad.
