i believe the word you are looking for is exculpatory...., even if it doesn't have culpatory information.

I think it's highly doubtful that Brady's team would be the ones to decide what the definition of "relevant" is for this investigation. There is no doubt Wells wanted to search all the text messages and pick and choose which ones to highlight out of context to make Brady look guilty of cheating like the league wanted.

The issue is at hand is what is agreed to in the arbitration agreement. This stuff is laid out before hand by agreement between the league and the players association. The NFL, quite frankly, had no rights to Tom Bradys cell phone per the arbitration agreement with the NFLPA. Unless Ted Wells and the Brady's attorneys agreed to such a wide scope of discovery, then he was under no obligation to provide his cell phones. This was the standard in place when Favre was ****-pic'cing that reporter... He never provided his phone, nor could the league force him to provide the phone, for that investigation and was not penalized for it ...No, you are wrong. AT&T said that they could not retrieve Brady's text messages on the destroyed phone since messages on their servers get deleted after 3 days. Please do your research. And there is no "complete invasion of privacy." Wells told Brady's agent to produce only those text messages that were relevant to the investigation. In other words, Brady and Yee get to decide which messages Wells gets - this is very standard in litigation where one party produces relevant documents in response to a discovery request.
It should be, because that word doesnt mean what you think it means then
Those were the email search terms not his phone or his texts. And as we know the media got the results and leaked a lot of info that had nothing to do with the investigation and the texts would have done the same without a doubt.Wells asked for the following terms to be searched in Brady's texts and emails...it's very specific. Anything that does not come up with these terms is deemed irrelevant and would presumably not given to Wells.
k-ball, kball, gage, air-pump, airpump, needle, pin, PSI, pounds per square inch, 12.5, bladder, McNally, Bird, 1 pound, 1 lb, one pound, one lb, 2 pound, 2 lb, two pound, two lb, gaug* [the * means that all variations of “gaug” were included, such as gauge, gauging, gauged etc.], pump*, inflat*, deflat*, (game OR kick*) ball ~2 [this means Brady’s emails were searched to see whether the words “game” or “kick*” were found within two words of “ball”], (prep* OR rub*) AND (ball OR football) ~10, (investigat* OR meet* OR discuss* OR question) AND (championship OR Jan* 18 OR 1/18), investigat* AND (ball OR football OR Ind* OR Colts) ~10, (equilib* OR atmosphere* OR climat* OR environment* OR test* OR experiment) AND (ball OR football) ~10

i do understand... I'm not the one with reading comprehension issuesno, you are simply not understanding my original post
The pendejo, @TommyBrady12 blaming Tom Brady for his culpability in Framegate and defending Wells and Goodell epitomizes the troll that he is and that he has diarrhea for brains.
i do understand... I'm not the one with read comprehension issues
tommy, just an fyi, i edited my response to that last post while you posted the aboveNo, my point was that it would have been wise to not destroy the phone even if there were no relevant texts that would implicate (culpatory) Brady. Again, please learn to read.
Exactly. It was as scripted as WWE. The outcome was planned and set in stone, no matter what happened before it.i do understand... I'm not the one with read comprehension issues
what you don't get or don't seem to grasp is this about deflategate - and why you tilting at windmills over his cellphone is utterly ridiculous ---
There is nothing Tom Brady could have said or done to prevent the NFL from suspending him. There is nothing Tom Brady could have said or done or provided to the league that would have prevented the league from suspending him.
Tom Brady was set up. Tom Brady was going to be found guilty as charged from the onset of the investigation. Brady had no chance of a fair hearing. The outcome was decided well in advance of any meeting, hearing, before any scientific study could be concocted, before any witnesses were interviewed... The desired outcome was determined in advance, and the NFL crafted the entire investigation to support the predetermined conclusion.

and you are wrong. You are wrong because it just didnt matter
absolutely... the word should have been reading... See how easy it is to admit a mistake? Maybe you might learn something from this lesson?before you accuse me of "read comprehension" issues and use of vocabulary, you ought to know that the correct term is "reading comprehension"...
and perhaps Brady would still have been suspended, but I continue to believe the public reaction to it (after the hysteria died down) would have been a lot different.
set in advance - so much so that Jeff Pash edited the final version of the Wells Report... Jeff Pash, who like, worked for the League, not the "Independent" investigatorExactly. It was as scripted as WWE. The outcome was planned and set in stone, no matter what happened before it.
If Brady let his phone be searched, they would have found a reason in there to suspend him. Without a doubt.

and no, the reaction would not have been different. If you have actually been following the Patriots for any length of time you should know this
What is this? 1970? All text messages can be obtained from the providers. Why would they need the phones?

I have a BSCE from UMass and am a registered PE in FL. And you're still a pendejoInstead of coming after me repeatedly with foul Spanish words, you might want to spend the wasted time improving your own life...while you are at home during the pandemic, you can still get a college degree online somewhere. University of Phoenix is a good choice for someone like you...there are no admissions requirements.
