Kupp and Donald appear to be fine thankfully so i like both nfc games. In the afc im hoping the browns aren’t depleted still. Not too hopeful but i also didn’t give them a chance vs pitt who they beat soundly. At least 3 should be good games

I like.

AFC

The Bills. Hopefully, (for them) Indy put a scare into Buffalo. They need to play much better and hope for bone chilling weather. The Ravens are thugs and deserve to lose.

The Chiefs. The Steelers win in Pittsburgh was the Cleveland Super Bowl. The Browns go from a team rift with problems to an opponent not as proficient as last season, but hitting on all cylinders when needed. A 28 - 0 lead is not safe vs KC. They can hang 14 points on your defense in a few plays. No exaggeration because they have done it.

Bills vs Chiefs needs to happen anyway. Allen vs Mahomes to settle the question is Josh Allen the real deal and a guy who takes your team on his back to the next level.

NFC

Tom Brady. The Saints were not impressive whatsoever vs Chicago. I do not like a team who is playing an opponent a 3rd time in the same season. The Saints are lined up for the hat trick shutout. They will be favored. They will get all the pub how NO has Bradys number. The Bucs will be moving on and not to the golf course like Payton and Brees.

The Packers. Rams played great vs Seattle who are a dumpster fire and the Packers have found their mojo. West coast teams going East usually struggle.

Brady vs Rodgers would be a heck of a game. GOAT vs the BOAT. GB fans refer to Rodgers as the "best of all time."

Physical teams give the Bills problems. Ravens are a live dog here. Bills are a throwing team first and that's also how you put up points vs Baltimore's defense.

Browns have the best OL this season with 2 pro bowl RBs which is exactly the formula you need to shorten the game vs KC. Only problem for Cleveland is that their secondary even with Ward back are waiting to be exploited. Chiefs should win but may not cover the 10 pts.

Agree on the Saints/Bucs angle. Third time's the charm especially with that last SNF blowout?

Rams will give the Packers a lot of trouble. Maybe not enough trouble to pull off the upset but they could very well cover 7 points. Rams IMO have the best defense in the league and are stout on the DL w/ Donald. Jalen Ramsey will be on Davante Adams. That run game of Mcvay's is also going to test the relative weakness of the Packers defense against the run.

Washed up, over the cliff TB12 given the best time slot of the weekend.

TB beating Brees, Rodgers and Mahomes to win his 7th at 43 would be a helluva accomplishment. I am not sure he has the support in the coaching staff he needs.

He's got the skill players, but yeah, coaching is not great. The D is 6th in yards and 8th in points (how the heck were the Pats 7th?) so he might have enough to work with. He put up 31 against a Washington defense that was 2nd in yards and 4th in points. We'll see how Rodgers does against a Rams defense that is #1 in both.

Not only do I think the Bucs will win, I think they’ll win by at least two scores. Their defense will probably be brain dead, with Bowles going with that stupid two deep zone against a QB who can’t push the ball downfield anymore without putting a ton of air under it. I think that will keep New Orleans in the game late, but I think they’ll be too much for the Saints this time. Marpet is healthy and the OL has done a good job of protecting Brady of late. The Saints best shot is to get after him with their front four and flood everything between the numbers with 6-7 defenders. That will be a harder task this time around. With Brown fully integrated into the offense, I don’t see how New Orleans can go man-to-man. Lattimore usually has his way with Evans, and CJ Gardner-Johnson is no slouch on the other side, but he’s no match for Brown if Brady is given time. So I see Allen going with a lot of zone and forcing Brady and Arians to be patient enough to drive the length of the field. That will work against them as Brady will happily take that. Death by a thousand paper cuts. Even if Jones is healthy, Fournette should get the majority of the snaps. He’s a better pass protector and is the more dangerous back between the tackles. In all, I think this contest will be closer to the Week 1 meeting (with the result flipped) than the Week 10 contest. But I don’t see Brady throwing two picks here, let alone a pick-6.

If Goff were 100%, I could see an angle where the Rams would pull off an upset. They can go man-to-man with Green Bay and Adams will have a tough day at the office against Ramsey. They’ll slow the Packers down, but won’t be able to put enough points on the board to win. Their best shot is to hammer at them with Akers, bleed the clock, and play for field position. The Packers will probably come at them with a lot of Cover-1 Man Under and try to force Goff into pushing the ball downfield in obvious passing situations. Even when healthy, he’s an erratic at best QB on those lower percentage throws. Packers pull away late.

While the Browns should hopefully be over the worst of their Covid issues, I think they’ll come out flat. This was a huge emotional win for them and they’ll have a hard time refocusing. “Shortening the game” against QBs like Mahomes and Brady is overrated. Many times, this still works to their advantage. Cleveland’s defense is not equipped to stop KC, either. They’ll double Garrett and Mahomes will have enough time to get another one of his stupid ****ing haircuts in the pocket before finding the open man. KC is favored by 9.5. If I bet on sports, I’d take the over.

Ravens/Bills is the toughest game for me to call because this one, more than the others, depends on who will win up front. The Ravens whipped the Titans on both sides of the ball. If they can make Buffalo one-dimensional, they have the defense to slow down Allen and Diggs. The Bills are a middling, at best, run D. Jackson and Co. will have quite a few opportunities to do some damage there. The Bills do have a decent pass defense, though. If they’re able to create turnovers, it’ll do the Ravens in (as long as Allen doesn’t give it right back to them). I guess I’ll take Buffalo here, but I’m not at all confident in this prediction.

Brady against zone. That's laughable.

It wouldn’t have been last year. This year, he’ll shred it. It’s either that or they go man to man. Even if Brown or Godwin can’t do anything on that down, he’ll rip them with Gronk, Brate, or Fournette.

Sounds like an infinity gauntlet:excited:

Please let it be Fournette and not Jones et. al. Rooting for the RLKAG guys to lose.
A Mahomes, Rogers SB will be a must miss for me.

That's the one I would like to see.

3 Wins over hall of famers for his 7th super bowl. That gauntlet of wins is a mic drop that would never be rivaled.

At this point I am rooting for IN ORDER of preference:

1.) Bucs - Brady/Gronk...love those guys!
2.) Browns - Dawg Pound/Factory Of Sadness!
3.) Rams - I like them better than everyone left in the NFC other than the Bucs.
4.) Saints - Don't love em'...don't hate em'. Like their fans and the city though...
5.) Bills - Divisional rival...screw em'....only ranking them #5 because I feel sorry for em'....ALMOST.
6.) Chiefs - Don't love them....don't hate em'....but enjoy watching Mahomes play.
7.) Ravens - Not a fan...although I dig Lamar Jackson.
8.) Packers - I respect their history, but don't wanna them add to it.

Tampa Bay's DB's are hot garbage. There is no way they're not giving up at least 35 points to either Brees, Rodgers or Mahomes. Meaning Brady will probably have to hit 40 points to win at least one of those matchups.

To me Brees looks like he's holding on by a thread. Nearly every pass he throws is a checkdown or out to the flat. I can't fathom that defenses don't wreck their passing game. I'm sure Sean Payton is chomping at the bit to unleash the full Taysom Hill on the league too but knows he has to stick it out with Brees. Not saying Brees can't get the job done because clearly he still can but he's actually at the edge of the cliff.

I think New Orleans beats Tampa Bay 31-27. Next season will be Tampa Bay's championship season.

I wouldn't sleep on the Rams beating the Packers though. The Rams defense is capable of being the difference in any matchup.

KC and Buffalo make it to the AFCCG.

My list is almost identical. I’d just have kc and Baltimore swapped, don’t wanna hear any dynasty talk there
