Yes if you slow it down he did, but he had time does matter, he simply didn't have it long enough for it to be considered secure. When you get the ball knocked out less than a 1/10th of a second after it gets there, it's hard for that to be called complete.

That wasn't close to a catch if they are going to call it like they have been this year so I think they got that one right. I have alot of respect for Brees but this is so boring to watch. All his games are the same. Must be 1/3 screens and the rest short zone beaters and it's awful to watch. I hope they win if TB can't stop this they won't win the SB anyway.
