T's and P's for the Giants...

This is some stupid a** narrative that we should feel bad for NYG after tonights game. They finished 6-10! They’re lucky they even had a shot to sniff the postseason at this point.
That's true, but openly throwing a regular season game is complete garbage.

I know it gets said a lot, but if the Pats did this they would literally lose draft picks.

The Eagles should be stripped of their first round pick.

1.) Is there some reason why so many on TV feel compelled to say "the Washington Football Team" rather than simply saying "Washington"?

2.) Am I the only one that sees the initials "WFT", but by the time my brain deciphers it the initials becomes "WTF"?

It wouldn’t shock me; maybe that’s why we won today. Better to pick 15 than to not pick at all.

Are you serious? This is blatant as it gets lol. If that was us goodell would take a draft pick from us.

Punt the football here. Don’t try anything stupid.

Pretty obvious the Eagles were tanking tonight. 9 starting players were ruled out and you put your backup QB in in the 4th quarter when the game is still within reach? Pederson should be fired.

I recommend searching "doug pederson" on Twitter and sorting by latest.

Boo hoo. I don’t feel bad for the giants at all. They should have put the game earlier then. Put it ahead of the giants vs cowboys game.

I understand playing your backup, but wasnt Sudfeld #3 on the depth chart?

Seriously, what did they need to evaluate?

If it was Wentz that had the Eagles in position to win it, and they pulled him for Hurts, I would totally understand.

But I really don't get Sudfeld for Hurts.

(Not that Hurts played great tonight).

You don't get it? Everyone else does. The eagles weren't playing to win. That was clear before the game when they ruled out numerous starters. When the eagles were in the game in the 4th, Pederson pulls his starting QB for a scrub to get a higher draft pick.

Hurts wasn’t playing that well though. A lot of guys where out for this team.

LOL, according to Tankathon, the eagles would have picked 9th had they won instead of 6th. Pederson lost his entire team over 3 spots...

All the networks are all very excited about three game$ both Saturday and Sunday.
That's never going to change going forward.

In the past I always loved the divisional round, because you usually had 1-4 and 2-3, plus 1-4 and 2-3 the next day.
Four great games featuring the eight best teams, as opposed to just two games for the conference championship weekend.

Not sure how to feel about this change with six games (the new wild card format).
It's watered down with a #7 out of 16 getting in - but three consecutive playoff games on back-to-back days is enticing.

this is an excellent point, the networks are thrilled with the extra playoff game, so I would expect this going forward.

eventually the nfl will wear down the players association via pressure and money and they will get an 18 game schedule with 16 teams in the playoffs.

Giants fans - and players - need to STFU over Philly pulling Hurts for Sudfeld. You assholes went 6-10. You have zero right to complain about missing the playoffs because of something Philly did.

EDIT: Just saw @Ras-IR Dowling beat me to the punch with the same point. I hadn’t seen his when I made my post but I definitely agree with what he said.

Sunday: Allow 56 points, falling from first in scoring defense all the way to 6th.
That doesnt tell the whole story.

Tua threw a pick 6 and Buffalo ran back a punt for a TD. 14 points with the Miami defense sitting on the sideline. Then, add 2 more Tua INTs and stir. Buffalo is on fire passing the ball to everybody. 4 WRs with at least 65 yards. John Brown was back and they have a 2020 4th round rookie WR who can play. Gabriel Davis Stats, News, Bio | ESPN
