Myers is in his 2nd year. He has the opportunity to be great. Amazing people write players off, "nice #3", in their 2nd year.
Just look at Harry’s pre-draft known weaknesses. Separation was one of them.
BB would probably trade it.I really want the 10th pick.
In an ideal world you'd have a #1 receiver, healthy Edelman as #2 and Meyers as #3 where he'd be great in that role. As it stands he's asked to be the #1 receiver which just isn't his role.
Jakobi Meyers is a good piece. He is likely to have a final tally of 60+ catches for 700+ yards. He has a place on a rebuilt roster as a #3 receiver.
A number 1?meyers is a legit #1 or #2 already on a championship offense. The only other Patriot receivers to produce like this kid has done, are all in the Patriot Hall of Fame.
I don’t think he’s ever traded a high draft pick and he shouldn’t now.BB would probably trade it.

A number 1?
I think he can be a good complimentary guy but if he is matching up against number one corners he will struggle. I think his ceiling is a number 2 and for a converted QB undrafted free agent I think that is not a bad thing at all.look up who else has ever had a 169 yard game as a Patriot. Meyers is in elite company. And this is with a 2500 yard throwing QB.
Against the Jets. Let’s pump the brakes on Meyers. Sheesh. He’s a nice player and certainly not a #1 and probably not a #2. He’s looked good with zero other good weapons. I’m not saying get rid of him, because he’s a nice piece, but my Lord he is not even close to a #1.look up who else has ever had a 169 yard game as a Patriot. Meyers is in elite company. He was looking for inside help.JC has a propensity to get burned big time. A concern if he’s ever seen to fully replace Gilmore.
I tend to look at talent and other players around him.why ? Because of his pedigree? I look at actual performance and production.
