I will continue to moderate the best I can. You should know me by now, I am very respectful to posters but will not stand for the constant negativity and trolling. If that bothers you or if you disagree, then I'm sorry but I think I'm more than fair and if you want to review further, please pm me and we can discuss which I would be more than happy to. I get a lot of complaints about your negativity all the time....
You are wonderful Ash...you do a great service here and I appreciate your insight and comments! Thank you Ashley!

Pats overall looked like they didn't want to be there. Been a while since I could say that. Even when they made good plays or had something going, there was a penalty or a dropped pass or a missed XP. Fortunately, it was a 3am game here so I watched the replay and was able to skip large chunks of ****tiness.

QB is by far the most important position. We don’t have a QB. Unless we somehow get Stafford or Jimmy G that pick should go to draft our next franchise QB.

I don't know if this is the right way but I'd prefer loading up on talent and possibly filling some of the holes before reaching for a QB.

I think QB should be a long-term approach. Grab a middle tier veteran and draft possible QB prospects in the later rounds. Let the defense carry us for now.

I wouldn't expect another Tom Brady because that guy only comes around every hundred years or so.

Just watched the first half. The last throw from Cam to Harry was terrible. That was not a throw from a fit NFL quarterback. Something is clearly wrong with him. If this cant be resolved then I dont think he should be with us next season.....good guy or not.

Well, the second half was a non event. Game went as per team form ?. Bills were simply better , they have a QB that can throw (and run) and a No 1 receiver amongst other things. Think opt outs , injuries , lack of talent in key areas just came home to roost again. We had no offensive threat at all.

I thought Sony played well , JJ Taylor with some decent runs , Onwenu seemed to hold up ok , and Myers flashed with not a lot of throws. Butler was the only player who looked of any use in the dline despite the two penalties. I think I heard a key point mentioned by the commentators was that out of 36 drop backs Allen was only hit once.

I couldn't watch it..how did the rookies on defense perform?

I can’t for the life of me imagine what would happen if this team had a normal team’s history... NE is literally the only team to have this amount of sustained excellence (including a « disappointing » 12-4 AFCE crown last year and a SB victory 23mo ago).

I’m frustrated with the inconsistencies and the bad play. But to suggest that the entire organization is crap and that Brady’s departure is the only factor is both shortsighted and wrong. I don’t know what the future holds and people who keep mentioning BB’s non-Brady record can have their parties if they wish. But, I can’t be the only person here to think that is ridiculous...

Well... uh I guess Sony ran hard when they gave him the rock. JC Jackson should not get his big payday here. Diggs torched him

Good point. That was big part of problem....OL sucked
Our offensive line being very inconsistent has been a very under the radar problem this year. Horrible pass defense and it doesn’t matter who is out there, they are getting rushed. Not as bad as when Newhouse was out there, but you are seeing the effects of Scar being gone.

I think we can all agree that everyone on this offense other than maybe Harris will not be part of the solution here.
Haris, Meyers, Byrd can stay. Maybe Sony depending on price. But we need a new QB, at least two probably 3 new WR’s, a new TE (probably 2), and two new lineman (Thuney won’t get paid and Wynn is injured too much).

BENCH CAM

Im not some crackpot fan reacting to 1 game.

I do not want Cam breaking Grogans record for rush TDs. Grogan was a warrior who played through some terrible coaches and behind some bad offensive lines. Can we at least respect what the man did for this franchise as lowly as it was prior to Belichick?

This aint baseball where youre achieving individual statistics like a Pitcher. Cam will call his own number if given the opportunity to be superman on the way out of town. Another feather in his purple fedora. He may be just a great locker room guy, but Cam is also about himself.

JJ Taylor should starting.

Dude damn near broke off a TD from near midfield.

Enjoy the rebuilding process. Gonna take awhile to get back on top. Wish we could move a couple of spots up in the draft.
A few places doesn't amount to much. Look at it this way. Here are the picks using picks 10 and 15.
10-42-74-106-138-170-202
15-47-79-111-143-175-207

Now let's give the first team their pick 10 and see what happens.
15-42, 47-74, 79-106, 111-138, 143-170, 175-202, 207

Yes, the first team now has pick 10 but from then on the second team will pick 27 picks sooner for each player drafted and will get one more player at the end. If you want you can use the value chart that the draftniks like to use and tally up the points.

Throw in the fact that the draft is a crapshoot with each team having different needs and the advantage is even less.
