Patriots Pregame Thread On to Miami

Pats open as +3 underdogs in Miami. Can't remember the last time that happened.

I think I'd rather see Tua than Fitz.

This is not a great match up for us. I think Miami runs and runs like the Rams did. Not sure what our offense does vs this D this time around. They are playing much better.

I think we beat them. They will be missing Gaskin and that will help. I think we can rattle Tua as well, like with Herbert.

22nd in yards allowed, 25th in yards per carry. Got shredded this season by us (217), Cardinals (178), and Denver (189). Did ok against the Chiefs (90).

If Harris is ok that would really help us too.

I agree. The coaching will be much better though than the Chargers. Flores will have them ready. This is a must win for them for the WC and the division.

So true re coaching. Flores is great - don't know if he will be COTY but he's up there.

They torpedoed our season last year so payback would be nice.

Flores is a very good coach, took lots of chances last year when he jettisoned Fitzpatrick and Tunsil to name a few.

Watched part of that game yesterday, Tua played well, we know how BB has schemed against 1st year QB's, but Flores knows BB quite well..

The Dolphins, as much as I hate to admit it, are going to be a very serious contender..

Cleveland over Baltimore tonight.
Patriots over Dolphins on Sunday.

If those two things happen...and Baltimore/Las Vegas win on Sunday anyway...

And Miami plays Las Vegas in week 16......Baltimore plays the Giants too....

I've said it a bunch of times - if Pats are eliminated I'm all in favor of a preseason roster in week 17 to screw the Jets out of the top pick.

I think offensively the pats are going to see one of the most aggressive defensive gameplans this year. Flores is going to put his all-pro CB in Howard on Meyers, Jones on Byrd & have 8/9 in the box. He’s not going to let them run.

Ugly game incoming. The Dolphins offense could be a disaster without Parker, Grant & Gesicki.

I feel good about this one, if bb could shut down hebert he should hopefully have a field day with tua. If bmore loses tonight and we pull this one off ill have no choice but to get my hopes up again
