Yes, Jimmy vs KC looked much better than Stid did in any game he's been in both this and last year, including the Chargers game. If that's what you're asking. Jimmy looked like an NFL QB. Stid hasn't to date.

Well, he's better than anybody currently on the Pats' roster. I'll certainly give you that (not much, frankly). But he's fragile, he's inconsistent, and I hope we can do better. Nothing worse than getting stuck for years with somebody too good to dump but not good enough to get you where you want to go. That's Jimmy, I think.

I think his game is quick release dink and dunk like brady. He looked great running that offense.

That is not what the 49ers want him to do which is why they have him more of a game manager right now.

I think it's 50-50 he's available. If Matt Ryan becomes available shanahan may feel he can better run his offense

Final word on this. You argued that he proved it to you vs kc and Stidham has never looked like that. I introduced facts, you change it to this.

Like I said thank goodness this QB controversy nonsense will end when the season ends and the Patriots get someone better than Stidham here. That shouldn't be too difficult. Then you'll see Bill switch QB's without a second thought and you'll know why.

Last year of contract and they are rebuilding and may want to draft their next qb instead.
I hope that’s their thinking and we trade for Ryan.

But you are going in circles. You want the young player to prove he gives us the best chance to win without giving him any opportunity to play.
We literally have the worst qb in the nfl playing. The chance an unknown unproven guy would turn out to give us a better chance to win is pretty high, regardless of who the unproven guy is.
By your approach young players would never play.
