Gunner

Edelman made his potential clearly visible in his very first preseason with the team. He didn't just suddenly get good in 2013 like you imply. Gunner has shown considerably less at this point in his career than Edelman had shown by late 2010.
Did Gunner not show potential his first preseason? He had a much more precarious position on the roster (someone expected to be cut) and made the team.

Yeah that might be the one player from here whom I would least like to see win a POTW award...

What if he punts it 80 yards, runs down the field while it's in the air, watches the ball bounce against the leg of a confused opponent, and scoops it up for a score?

Now all we need is a QB that can pass for more yards in a game like it wasn't 1932
F*(^*(^& the forward pass and F(*&#$% Bradbury Robinson, F*(#$&%(^ George (Peggy) Parratt and F*(*#$%*& Sammy F***in Baugh. Anybody still b***ing and moaning about the forward pass, 1960-2019 called and want their offense back. It's called football because you run on your feet then some defensive lineman grabs your balls at the bottom of the scrum when you get tackled. Oooooh, Mark Hammil, where is my forward passsss? right over here SIR Patrick, tonight will you be eating Vegan Quiche or dialing up a forward passssssss? Stupidest rule change EVAH.

I like what Cam has brought to the team as far as the locker room goes but it's a shame he can't throw a football anymore. The staff seems to have realized it now and are insulated Cam with a strong running game, some wildcat, and scheming guys wide open for him.
Well he's listed as questionable tomorrow, so we may get a much quicker look at Stidham than we thought

Aren't Thursday night games past this guy's bed time?

He was questionable last week.

The instant gratification squad is at it again. No 700 yard game in his first outing? Cut the bum!

Which is more true - Patriot players tend to:

1. Start balling fast, meteorically rising before crashing back to Earth as their strengths get game planned against?
2. Tend to improve throughout a season, adding new techniques and capabilities while being fundamentally sound?
3. Always suck, BB the GM is killing BB the Coach

I've never seen a portion of a fan base so willingly sign up for such self-flagellation of watching a team they obviously cant stand with players they similarly despise using a system of evaluating and picking talent that makes them physically ill.

Fans are the same everywhere, but what makes it more difficult for Pats fans is 20 years straight of unprecedented success. Give them some time to adapt to the real world of football.

He's got some Edelman to his personality. The easy charisma, talking pace, thoughtfulness, and humor...

I want him to do well even more now. Here's hoping he earns a spot on the roster for many years to come.

Get a grip. He should never have been out there as a kickoff returner. Bill the GM should have had a guy who could do it at an adequate level.

So Gunner officially lead the league in punt return yards and average yards per punt return. That average is second best in a season since 1975 (McKelvin averaged 18.7 in 2012).

He also averaged 23.2 yards per kick return, though he was not the primary kick returner.
