It's easy, and only takes a few moments.I wonder if Bill puts Onwenu at RT or if he keeps Thuney at C, Onwenu at LG, and Mason at RG with Herron at RT. I know moving Andrews to the bench would suck for him, but Thuney has played better at center than Andrews ever has, imho.
Schedule makers not doing us any favors here with the late kick off. West coast team gets their rest and no advantage for New England.
There is no other way to explain this awful teams' win over the Raiders. That same Raiders team who beat the Chiefs. The Chiefs who were not supposed to lose a single game!!There is no actual advantage...it's like an old wive's tale.
While I agree with Thuney being a better center I feel the only thing that might keep Andrews on the bench would be concerns about that finger injury.
But why activate him from IR then ?
With Andrew's back our OL should go back to being a strength
Andrews is not off IR yet, so he is technically not back. Broken thumb surgery 3 weeks ago on his right hand used to hike the ball. Not sure he is 100%.
Thuney, Mason and Onwenu is a really strong middle of the line.I wonder if Bill puts Onwenu at RT or if he keeps Thuney at C, Onwenu at LG, and Mason at RG with Herron at RT. I know moving Andrews to the bench would suck for him, but Thuney has played better at center than Andrews ever has, imho.
He's no Bob Gladieux, so no, that would not be possible.Question: If Garropolo gets benched and then cut/released mid-game, let's say during halftime, can Pats technically sign him and have him put on Pats uniform for 2nd half?
can you practice still on IR? I was just going by this article
Patriots return C David Andrews, DL Beau Allen among 6 players off IR, COVID-19 list
The Pats kicked off a normal week of preparation Wednesday with a padded practice.www.bostonherald.com
Getting a huge break with this one. 49ers are basically missing their top players om both sides of the ball. Take away kittle, commit to the run and do better than last week on offense and we should be fine.
George Kittle is a whole another problem. Kelce is just a receiver. Waller is a tight end with average blocking. George Kittle is a very good blocker which poses peak Gronk level problems in the play action game.and we're pretty damn good at taking away TEs this season so far in Kelce and Waller.
I feel good about the patriots ability to handle TEs this year. Looking forward to the game. Feeling no pressure around winning is a refreshing change....for now.George Kittle is a whole another problem. Kelce is just a receiver. Waller is a tight end with average blocking.
