I would love to see him locked up long term and get more playing time.I really hope they pay JC Jackson he is developing into a very solid starter. Almost reminds me of Asante Samuel where he will gamble occasionally but will also make some big plays and be an all around solid corner.
The only team that would likely do that is Tampa, because of Tom. But even then, it would likely be a 7th rounder only at most.
I do love Gilmore and Thuney, but it does make sense for NE to explore trade options given the financial hit those guys are about to undergo. Both would be worth quite a bit, especially to a team willing to grant an immediate extension. Yes, Gilmore too.
I could also see Jonathan Jones being worth quite a bit in trade. Dude has been fantastic, and he's young.
Lol Thuney is not a better center than Andrews.Jones being young is exactly why you don't trade him. You're selling your future when you don't need to.
Same goes for Thuney, imho. He's a better fit at Center long term than Andrews. Especially if we are going to a ground centric offense.
Bills cut OL after giving him a 15m$ extension less than a year ago. Worst GM, amirite ?
It would be a dumb trade and he'll never do it. We are much more likely to extend and pay Thuney than we are to pay a TE who doesn't block.NFW does Belichick do this. Ertz hasn't been Ertz this year and he's injured..
Personally I wouldn’t do it if he were healthy.NFW does Belichick do this. Ertz hasn't been Ertz this year and he's injured..

Thuney is significantly better than Andrews. And the 2 games he's played there are proof of it. Given the chance, Thuney could be an ALL-PRO there just like he's been at Guard.
It is not a fire sale, it is dealing from a position of strength and getting assets in return without damaging the existing product too badly. Why trade away actual talent when our cap situation will put us into a highly competitive situation the next 2 years while others will have to do a firesale ?
We are not a 0-5 team that has been consistently rolled but a couple bounces and COVID infections away from being 4-1 or even 5-0. And yet the sky is falling yet again as every year in the last decade.
