It would only be a two way tie if LAC's kicker doesn't doink it off the goal post at the end of regulation.

LAC is heading towards "their QB is AMAZING !!!! OMG!" (yet he hasn't even won a single game) territory... Losers find a way to lose. LAC are there atm.

I hope things change. I think Herbert is a great find for them, and Lord knows they need something to change their vibe. I buy what the announcers were saying last night, their defense was begging Brees to cut them apart and that's what he did. Still, the kick was indoors and very makeable. Anyway, I hope things to start to look up for them a bit, but they still are working with Spanos as an owner.

That's putting the bar pretty low. Tampa handing out $60M guaranteed for Brady+Gronk, and Brady leaving the Pats, just so they could make the playoffs?
Agreed, hell even with 30 INT winston that was a 500 ball club. Replacing him with the GOAT, the offensive supporting cast and a solid defense it would be a disappointment to not make at least a deep playoff run.

So Mahomes did shake Carr’s hand after the game. Good.

Brady should have done the same with Foles especially since he didn’t last time. Or at least greeted him. It’s what good sports do. It’s really not that hard is it?

What are you, 9 years old?

You’re sitting there talking about “good sports” like this is Pop Warner. These are professionals and they are adults. If anyone gets butthurt over a post-game handshake, go back to following the pee-wees.

I was only commenting on the tweet and like I said, it might not have even been him. All I'll say is it definitely looks to me like a tweet that oddly called attention to himself especially with the pic. Is it a playful jab at himself? What does that have to do with his friend winning a championship. I don't think anyone cares. Just seemed weird to me. I can agree to disagree if you have a different opinion.

My issue wasn't the Bradyites it's with the moronic Belichick bashing. Not because their angle is a football reason to bash him but only because they're sore that he's here and Brady isn't. This season to date (as has 2008) has already proven beyond any doubt Belichick is one of the greatest coaches even without Brady, and he didn't need Brady to be great. Not that anyone with any semblance of football intelligence didn't already know that.
Because his friend just won his 4th championship and Brady happens to be holding up four fingers in the photo? It strikes me as a thing anyone would do, not just Brady. But whatever. Like you said, we'll just disagree... but overall, there is a noticeable pattern. Still got respect for you, sb1. No ill will.

So you think it's ok if professional athletes (who a lot of kids idolize) look like poor sports? I disagree.

Sb1, I know you and I personally communicated with one another, and though we still slightly disagree on some of the finer details of the Brady saga, we at least came to a bit of an understanding of each other's views. However, you're making it difficult for me to not just shake my head at some of this. You say you have no problem with Brady and your issue is more with Bradyites (as you call them), but it's like you find a way to denigrate every single thing he does on or off the field. There's definitely a pattern with your posts that has become increasingly evident, IMHO. I really don't think I believe that you're as objective as you promote yourself to be sometimes.

The fact is Bron and Brady are actually friends. They've interacted numerous times in person and on social media. This was a congratulations at his own expense. He's not promoting any of his products, business or any other financially motivated venture, which is the main area where Brady has been self-seeking. He's never tried to garner attention just for the sake of it, as far as I know. It's always been about the TB12 brand when he's done it in the past. So, I fail to see how this playful jab at himself while congratulating a friend and a fellow brother in the fraternity of greats is somehow Brady saying "Look at me." Unless there's just something I'm not seeing, I think you're reaching yet again, and that's becoming more and more consistent with you regarding Brady. I had stopped calling you Rob Parker Jr., but it applies here. Of course, I say all this respectfully, as you are entitled to your (misguided) opinion.
He is a broken record and a lousy troll. Brady = bad, Bill = good, rinse, repeat.

Actually it strikes me as not something anyone would do, hence my original post.

None on my end either PB.

They were 7-9 and the two seasons prior they were 5-11 both times. The bar is extremely low. A winning record and a playoff berth would be a big jump for them. Of course, if Brady can get them all the way to the NFCCG they may enshrine him down there before we do up here. LOL.

He held his own against Brady and Brees. Went right to the wire with them in two great duels, and he is only a rookie, dealing with a ****ty OL.

His ceiling is quite high.

Let me rephrase. Looking at what we now know of the NFC if TB gets eliminated by someone other than SEA or GB that’ll be a disappointment. I’m not sold on any of those teams with similar records to Tampa right now (LA, Chi, NO, Car, Zona or whoever wins the east). If they get knocked out r2 by SEA/GB that’s kinda expected.

Why? It has been only 5 games. All those teams you listed are legit teams that could keep progressing like Tennessee did last year for example and make a run. Football is always a war of attrition and who peaks at the end of the year. If Chicago gets hot and beats out GB for the division which could happen and the Bucs lose to Chicago there will be no disappointment in that. Have to see how things shake out by season's end.

Obviously if the Bucs are hit with the injury bug and lose all those weapons on offense that’s a different story. If they have their assortment of weapons and lose to say Chicago again that’s a failure. They can prove me wrong but I feel the bears are frauds, helped out by swift dropping a sure td and Atlanta doing Atlanta things. A 4-1 team who could easily be 2-3 or 1-4.

I HATED him in the draft. Thought he would be a bust for sure. Holy hell, have I been wrong so far.

Checking in on our 2019 Patriots receiving cast that was being held back by Tom Brady, who would only throw to "his guys."

Through Week 5:

N'Keal Harry - 18 receptions, 166 yards, 1 TD.

Jakobi Meyers - 1 reception, 7 yards, 0 TDs (career is likely over within a year, two tops, due to lack of ability)

Mohamed Sanu - 1 reception, 9 yards, 0 TDs (career is likely over now due to lack of ability/age)

Philip Dorsett - Injured reserve...strong suspicion is is also a depth issue since he likely would not get much playing time (career is likely over within a year, two tops, due to lack of ability/age)

Ryan Izzo - 3 receptions, 44 yards (career likely over within two years, considering his lack of ability)

Matt LaCosse - Opted out of 2020 season, though he was likely to be cut with the Patriots drafting two TEs. (career likely over within a year due to lack of ability)

Pretty sure if Brady had his weapons on Thursday they blow the Bears out but hey, any given Sunday. BTW, I loathe the Thursday games for this reason. No time for guys to recover. Really reduces the quality of play.
