Mayfield has been so much better this season.

He was really poor last year, even in a clean pocket. I still see some jitters and happy feet but he's been much better this year in that regard. Still has some big strides to go there imo. Still too jumpy to leave instead of work with the play structure.

He was really good in a clean pocket his rookie year. Terrible last last year and much better this year.

As long as they keep running the ball like they are they're in good shape. Work off PA. Keep it simple during this F'd up year and stay consistent.

I worked with a die-hard Lions fan last year and he called it a season after they tied the Cardinals early in the season.

With all due respect to the Falcons, the Lions are the personification of a premature ejaculation. Every Sunday they seem to be up 14-0 by 1:30 PM only to be tied by 2:00 and 2 scores down by half-time.

Just want to point out it was 14-7 when I posted this.

And yet, I am somehow not impressed with the prediction.

It’s not « all the time like 2010 » but there are plays where you see the magic still exists. The smarts and preparation are beyond reproach as well. That helps as you try to win in this league in your mid 40s.
