I suppose, but JE11 had the ball go through his hands on a sure score with 0:10 left on the clock.

Also Harry made big plays on the final drive, but will get very little credit on this board.

He'll get credit from the people who have been patient and are watching him develop. The ones who don't know football but continue to blather on will be the ones who won't give Harry credit.

Had this as a loss before the season, but damn was this game much more impressive than I envisioned. This team could be really good. If they can continue to improve and if the "even year injury luck" keeps us healthy, this could be a much better team than the 10-6 one I predicted.

The one thing that really depresses me is that we are now looking up at the Bills. I know it's only game 2 but still that sucks !
They should a lot of heart today , Cam was very good, so was Jules and Byrd. Hopefully he and Harry can continue to improve every week !
D was a sore point today, Gilmore usually has one bad game a season so hopefully he had his and it's behind him going forward .

Jills haven't played anyone of note and barely beat a team we easily handled.

Bb likes to have big linebackers but when the defense plays against an offense like KC or Seattle, they get burned because they're too slow

Disappointing result, but I wasn’t disappointed with the performance.

I still think we’re a talented receiver away from contending.
Cam just threw for 400 yards with Harry & Byrd both providing significant contributions. I wish Harry could take advantage of his size in one on ones. He goes down too easily. That being said he had the best game of his career...easily.

Little things all added up to this tough loss. Cam gets an A though.

We simply cannot allow deep bombs like that. It took us way too long to send corners after Wilson instead of slower linebackers.

And our special teams in a way cost us this game. Bad kick coverage and Folks miss makes a massive difference in how things could have gone.

I also have to thank Carrol and their dumb decision on offense to even give us a chance with some time at the end.

And if he got sacked, people would be complaining about that call. it's always easy to second guess after the play. When that play worked the first 8 times this season, nobody complained.

They were too many yards out for a straight up QB sneak. Cam was throwing the ball great. I would’ve taken a RPO.

We can beat KC in week 4. Not saying we will or even should but i like our chances better than I did earlier today.

A NT & a WR/TE (& Uche) would be welcome additions.

I think a true NT is all that is really needed. I think that we saw tonight that the WR/TE group is young and developing and has some really good potential. The INT was a bad throw by Cam.

Offense showed a lot of heart on Cams shoulders. He clearly showed he’s read for this Offense to be opened up a bit more. Very impressed with his performance. Edelman with his drops was heartbreaking, but he once again fought through some adversity to keep us in it. Nice to see Byrd show up. Harry was solid, just wish he ran like a man of his size, I just don’t get it. The run D everyone was worried about reared it’s ugly head tonight. That led to some serious Pass D issues. Wilson made some plays tonight, but nothing amazing. Great throws should be expected by guys like that, and our D has to step up and stop it. Kicker situation sucks. ST’s has been uncharacteristic so far, but I’m not worried about it. I’m sure they’ll get better as the season progresses. Would love to see Asiasi get involved.

At the end of the day, hard to be upset. Especially considering everything James White and his family are going through. It’s just a game. RIP Mr. White and best wishes to Mrs. White.

If bill goes and gets a friggin wideout I think we can compete with any team in the league.

Please don't throw another year in the trash over this.
it's sad when Jules is your only deep threat..go get a WR Bill

Loved Harry's game tonight by the way. He made some tough, clutch catches, fought for yards and had ball security. Hard to ask for more than that.

I don't have a problem with the play call, the o-line just got manhandled.

If they threw it and it was incomplete every one would of said why didn't you run it.

And if he got sacked, people would be complaining about that call. it's always easy to second guess after the play. When that play worked the first 8 times this season, nobody complained.
You nailed it. It worked the first 8 times. Everyone expected it. Football is a game of deception.

They were too many yards out for a straight up QB sneak. Cam was throwing the ball great. I would’ve taken a RPO.

HUH? Are you referring to the last play of the game? They were on the Seattle 1. A proper sneak behind Andrews like they've done previously would have scored..

Agreed. Maybe “more from the TE position” would have been a more accurate statement.

Didnt like how many yards they seemed to get after contact. Gotta tackle boys.

My only complaint is the lack of pass rush / speed on the edge to contain RW.

Very happy team was competitive and entertaining, especially considering the 8 stay at home covid-phobics

Overall I thought the Pats played a great game on O. Harry had some great catches, but he also went down really easy for such a big guy.

Edelman, man, Cam and him are on the same page big time.

Byrd is finally getting involved. I want to know where Asasi or whatever his name was and why Michelle can't run a wheel route to save his life at the NFL level. It makes us so predictable when he's in the game.

The defense and special teams laid an egg. They were lucky to stop them at all.

The only complaints I have on O is Cam staring down those couple of receivers and some blown opportunities with play calling. Seems like those 3rd and long draws just seem like a much better idea than they are each time to McDaniels. He always has a couple of dumb calls a game that leave you scratching your head. Also, running into the teeth of the Seattle D to end the game when that hadn't worked at all.

The Pats I watched tonight can beat every team left on their schedule. Probably won't beat Baltimore or KC but hopefully competitive like this. Feel like they should be in every other game... Feeling like a 12-4 season
