It's awesome to see Brady have so much talent around him with the beastly RBs, Awesome WRs and stout TEs. And then a solid slot guy in Miller who can go deep. Then the defense will speed, brawn and nastiness. If they can somehow put this whole thing together with the GOAT QB, they will be hard to stop.

Next week Tampa goes to Denver, where Brady hasn't fared great in his career. Not having fans at the stadium should help the Bucs a lot, and Lock's injured shoulder should be monitored.

Yeah they did. I actually watched the game
tell...what exactly does this mean? You get some kind of cutesy wootsey points for making such a meaningless statement? I watched the game also...I saw TB win easily from start to finish. Where did the "outplay" part of your assertion figure into the convincing win by TB?

Fournette just busted a move and took it the house.

Tampa will still struggle on offense, but be ready in November when the season begins.

Brady is the second QB in history with 75,000 passing yards. Brees is obviously the other one.

Brady made some really good throws including the one to McCo in the end zone, but also made some puzzling throws

i didn’t see many of those today

One puzzling throw which was the INT. He had at least 5 dropped passes that would have netted significant gains or TDs.

He was already over 5 yards a carry before the big run.

No Von Miller should also help.

It was not a great one, but it came with pressure. He had a guy right in his face at the end of his drop. He would have been sacked otherwise. Gronk was open on that play by the way, maybe the only time in this game, but the ball arrived just when he went out of his break.

I said nothing of his play.

I'm simply saying that this isn't the Tom we remember. Could you imagine Tom saying that at NE? It's a remarkably arrogant thing to say, even if it's true. I wouldn't necessarily say Tom of old was humble, but he was certainly ground ... that's not something a grounded person says.
Why do you think this is new? Maybe he was always this way and Bill dictated how players talked to media.

"It's a blessing and a curse, the drive of being great".

Yeah, this ain't the Tom we remember.

Oh it’s the Tom I definitely remember.
“17 points? That’s it? Haha yeah ok”
“Haha maybe they should read the rule book”

Probably a little of both. Seems clear that Tom's priorities and personality have changed a bit over the past 5'ish years.

There's a distinction between trash talk and self aggrandizement.

From what I've seen today, Brady is better, but much of the Bucs offense was based off PI and Carolina turnovers. Carolina outplayed the Bucs the 2nd half.

DPI is a thing. It gets called when DBs commit a foul. Just like last week. New Orleans had a bunch of DPI calls especially downfield. For an offense, this is a good thing, and what you want.

LOL. So much salt over Tom's comment.

Can you name a grounded QB?

I'd have to think about that. May I ask why it's relevant?

The conversation isn't about if NFL QBs are grounded; the conversation is about (what I believe to be is) a shift in Tom's personality over the past 5'ish years. It's just an observation.
