So you only partly blamed me for your incompetence. You could have easily stopped at “misunderstanding” which I thought was probably it. But you had to stroke your hurt feelings with the Xanax shot. I did nothing but explain myself.

And I didn’t know this board existed before July. So whoever you wrongly blamed before must have just been coincidence. Or a pattern. I’m sure mods can check to see if I’m someone else.
LOL.

Exactly, and I get these guys are booked on shows to draw attention and generate headlines and clicks. ESPN has been running this model for years.

Luckily I haven't watched BSPN for years. I sort of miss a little bit of their stuff, but in all wars there are casualties.

I don’t ever remember Cam cussing out coaches and teammates on the sidelines when “things went South”. Would that be OK?

No. Cam would just go the end of the bench by himself and sulk with a towel over his head.

Brady and BOB did not get along. I did not see the same problems with Josh or Charlie Weis. Brady laid into his teammates when he needed to. He did not wait for BB to act because Brady is a leader.

So when he threw a TD and put a towel over his head, what did that mean. Funny how
Michael Jordan was famous for it, and it was fine. And please list all the times he did this. Any in the last 8 years. Cam was enough of a leader to get named captain after 6 weeks. But I’m sure decade old narratives are more relevant.

Boomer is entitled to his opinion. It's not a hawt take, he's not saying anything that a lot of other people are... we'll see who's right soon.

Good stat - am I right in figuring this means Cam isn't a "run first QB" as is assumed by some here?
What it seems to mean is that when Cam does run, he puts his head down and runs and really doesn't look to throw while he's doing it...

I remember one QB here doing that not so long ago...

Maybe Bill can teach an old dog new tricks

Or

Maybe Bill has simply decided to toss away his blueprint for success and let Cam free wheel for as long as the QB’s body holds up to the inevitable pounding this style of QB subjects himself to.

I'm looking for the former.

We’ll see what tricks BB has in store for opponents. I will be rooting for Cam to succeed and shove it in the League’s face.

As long as Cam stays in the lane BB has clearly laid out for him I believe they will. (shove it in the league's face that is)

Brady laid into his teammates when he needed to. He did not wait for BB to act because Brady is a leader.

Steve Smith Sr. was backstabbed and run out of Carolina for the same...hurt feelings were cited.

However, the situation has now been righted and last year Steve was inducted into the Panthers Ring of Honor and he seems destined for a place in the NFL Hall of Fame alongside Brady if the dude ever quits playing!

Other Panthers Hall of Fame inductees were Delhomme, Gross & Walls. These 4 were the first Ring of Honor inductees since 2004.

I love it!!!

I even miss Max Kellerman and Rob Parker.....I think they took their Pats hate to Tampa.....

Anything said without any access or reason is a hot take. He is wildly guessing the same way as everyone who wasn't present for the public portion of camp. Except at least some people provide evidence based reasons for their takes.

Boomer is giving us his gut feeling which is worth less than a fart.

tbf to Boomer when Cam first signed he predicted Stidham would win the job because he didn't think it was possible for any QB to learn an entirely new system in two months. Most people myself included thought it was an absurd take, as Cam has been in the league nearly ten years with pro bowl appearances and an MVP and Stidham had shown absolutely nothing to make one think he would beat out Cam Newton.

But to Boomer's point, it was more about the impossible situation Cam was put in, not so much about the individual players involved. Still a really dumb take, but at least he had some sort of reasoning. This whole doubling down thing makes him look even dumber.

Mike Florio has the Pats as the #2 seed in the AFC and losing in the Super Bowl to Tampa Bay. Now THAT would be drama!

Two of the six NBC staffers giving predictions have the Pats missing the playoffs.

Mike Florio
AFC
1. Chiefs; 2. Patriots; 3. Ravens; 4. Titans; 5. Steelers; 6. Chargers; 7. Colts.
Wild card: Patriots over Colts. Ravens over Chargers. Steelers over Titans.
Divisional round: Chiefs over Steelers. Patriots over Ravens.
Conference championship: Patriots over Chiefs.

NFC
1. Cowboys; 2. Buccaneers; 3. Seahawks; 4. Vikings; 5. Saints; 6. Falcons; 7. 49ers.
Wild card: Buccaneers over 49ers. Seahawks over Falcons. Vikings over Saints.
Divisional round: Vikings over Cowboys. Buccaneers over Seahawks.
Conference championship: Buccaneers over Vikings.

Super Bowl: Buccaneers over Patriots.

Amazing how Florio's "almost objective" keen football intelligence magically predicts a Patriots/Buccaneers Super Bowl. Could a Patriots/Buccaneers Super Bowl prediction get more "clicks"?

Can you imagine the hype for that game?

It would have to be the most hyped Super Bowl, ever... Tampa at HOME, with Brady, vs. Belichick...
