halfway through our schedule we have scored more points than 17 NFL teams (tied with the 18th) scored for the FULL SEASON of 2006.

Oh, and by the way, defensively, we are on a pace to only allow 16 more points that the 2003 team did, which set the franchise record.

These stats are almost unfathomable.

Our Point Differential is 204 - only Indy and Dallas (and us) have scored that many points.

A point differential of 200 over an entire season is *excellent*.

Holy cows.

Correct me if I'm wrong, the team record for points in a season is 441 in 1980 right? That's 110 points off the team record after week EIGHT. We may break out own scoring record in NOVEMER. Unbelievable.

Nope, the record is 556 by Minnesota in '98.

And only 17 points more than the record setting 2006 team.

It's amazing.

Even in my short NFL life i've never seen anything like it.

The scoring has been great, I just can't see it continuing. When the Razor starts to freeze are we going to start running more? No domes after Indy and the furthest south we go is Baltimore. I don't know, but it seems like all the great northern teams from the past had really good running games. Maybe we'll be the first to throw in the snow.

Brady's never had too much trouble throwing in the snow. I seem to remember him throwing for 300 yards in a blizzard during a play-off game or something.

We have a good running game.
We'll still score big.
It'll help if Morris can get healthy.

Amazing so far. The Redskins were footballoutsiders #1 defense coming into this week. IIRC, Dallas was #1 in defense when Pats played them.

Pats need to score about 28 per game to set the NFL record. I think it will be tough. Pats still have Pitt at home and Ravens in Baltimore. Figure on cold winds and maybe snow in NJ and Buffalo and Foxborough.

No accident that the record was set by a dome team (Minnesota).
