Patriots QB Newton’s message to everyone

That was a good video. He’s not messing around and looks very motivated.

Yep. Be hilarious when NE is in the SB, and Tommy boy is at home. If there is a season at all of course. Motivated Cam with BB and Josh? With that stable of backs? Watch out.

Reading the text on his Instagram is nauseating.

Stidum is the biggest loser in this. There’s no way (aside from injury) he wins the starting job. None.

Antonio Brown would like a word with you. . . .***

***No, I'm not saying Cam = AB. I'm just pointing out that we don't have crystal balls.

He should be motivated. Jeff Howe's source (for whatever it's worth) has stated that Cam was not guaranteed the starting QB job, he'd still have to compete against Stidham.

And this is good. Competition is good for both Stidham and Cam.

Should've put a clause in his contract that requires him to get rid of that terrible hairstyle.

This is a little weird and Boston is maybe the worst place in tbe league for this black starting QB with weird instagram posts.

.

That sounds more like a Boston problem than a Cam Newton problem.

Don't disagree. The region has a lower tolerance for missteps off the field and on the field for this starting black QB. It's my biggest concern. I look at what happened to Renteria, Manny, David Price, Dice-K, Ray Allen.

I still think if theres a season, barring injury its likely Cam is our starter. I'd be fine with Stid too, but if Cam can return to form and play very well... id be fine with Cam as our future QB. Depends on how he plays, but if he plays well... why let him walk in 2021? I'd rather have 3-5 seasons of good QB play under Belichick than an unknown with Stid. Again, this is only if he plays and returns to form.

The main issue is that it is difficult to speculate on how long Cam can stay healthy. Unless Cam has another MVP season, I would let him walk.

Some good 5hit right there

What does he say at the end? and what does it mean?

With Cam's history of injuries, I wonder if BB is going to experiment with splitting time between quarterbacks. If Stidham is reasonably good with the first team, there is no reason to have him bench bound the whole season.

Some injuries were par for the course, others were from the stupidity of his coaching stuff and himself trying to barrel through LBs. I hope our coaching stuff are intelligent enough to limit the hits he takes. He can play like Russel Wilson at the minimum when it comes to protecting yourself from unnecessary hits.
