I liked watching him play QB for the Patriots and will pay some attention to what he does as a QB in Tampa.

He has always held goofy unscientific ideas. That has never affected how I feel about him as a QB. I have never understood why people expect an athlete or an entertainer to know everything about everything, or why they hold grudges against them for doing noncriminal but shady things that are unrelated to their performance.

It is what it is. I wish him good fortune in TB. I wish Stidham MORE good fortune in NE.

So the Vit C and Zinc, for sure, but that can be had for less than 10% of this cost. And with a healthy diet, you get the maximum amount your body can use anyway under normal circumstances. There is some evidence that Zinc is anti-viral, but no one understands what's happening, how much Zinc is necessary, or what the long term effects are. We do know that long term overdosing will cause other health problems.

Elderberry, Larch Tree, and Wellmune are possibly useful, but still not certain. They sound cool, though, and a lot of people use them, which sometimes gets confused with actual impact.

I'd be very careful about any ingredient that doesn't list the actual substance, but instead lists either the source of the substance, or has a name from a marketing department (Wellmune). That's a form on non transparency, marketing manipulation, and perhaps (often) as sign of incomplete science.

We have someone with immune problems in our family and her doctors prescribe such supplements. They are costly. We generally trust feel-rite to get us the right product at the best price. BUT if you find these cheaper elsewhere, there's no way to know how much the maker is putting in there.

The supplement market is the wild west of honesty.

I don't have the time or inclination to see if Brady's product is pure or not but I will say that just because the same supplement is much costlier than another brand does not mean the more expensive one is a rip-off. A lot of the manufacturers outright lie about how much they are putting into a capsule.

The devil is in the details, the references have data which are from crap journals with methods that are not rigorous. I know the supplement business is a multi billion dollar industry and they have figured out how to generate lots of meaningless data.

Like I said in the other topic the way Brady talks about his buddy Guerrero and TB12 sports isn’t all that different from how Barry Bonds talked about Victor Conte and Balco before things started happening there.

I don’t think Bill is that sad to see the influence of Guerrero be another team’s problem now. Tom hopefully can distance himself from that cause I don’t think he (Guerrero) is all that he seems to be. Fair or not it will take only one exposure of something illegal at TB12 to put a question mark by Brady.

This is the first thing that came to my mind too. The doctors I know would never say such a thing. Most of them think herbal type solutions are voodoo nonsense, with a few exceptions. Obviously I'm not saying they are correct, but it is a strange take. If it works, more to them. The flu shot is very low % in terms of how well it protects you anyway. I believe they literally take a 'guess' each year at what strains to put in it. I'm not sure on that though so don't blast me.

I know quite a few people that believe in basically what Tom is selling and swear by it, I don't have a problem with it, if you do, don't buy it but many people believe in this stuff. Not saying I do but I take Vit C and vit D3 every day and rarely get sick, is it the supplements? Maybe maybe not.

There's nothing revolutionary about staying away from processed foods and keeping hydrated the problem is, favoring low cost and quick fixes, we've turned away from the basics.

I mentioned Bonds because the way he has talked about Conte and Balco isnt that different than what Brady says about Guerrero. Guerrero seems shady to me and Tom shouldn’t be relying on him.
