If they're innocent I hope they're cleared of all charges. But if someone had 70 large swiped from them and decided to go around the law to get it back, I could see it playing out exactly this way.

Charges are not proven, but with bored athletes hitting the clubs, getting drunk and doing stupid crap, I certainly would call it plausible.

Practice squad players in 2019 can earn a minimum of $8,000 per week during the regular season and postseason, per the current CBA, but there is no cap on the amount practice squad players can receive.

I wouldn't call $70K chump change for a PS player, though it is much closer to that for a bottom-of-first-rounder like DeAndre Baker, especially because of the guarantees within that rookie contract ...Gettleman's squarely on the hot seat now; he traded UP for this genius...Another reason why trading Down is Almost Always the better move...

They lost 70000 GAMBLING.
They were at a cookout, got into an argument and pulled guns and stole the money and watches of the guests.
How is this being proud of your physical prowess? They PULLED GUNS AND ROBBED PEOPLE.
What were they handling themselves? Recovering gambling losses with armed robbery?
