Why would a guy like this fall to the 6th round? Perceived low football awareness ?

People could believe he has weight control issues.
People could put too much analysis into footwork and not enough into how he recovers.

There are so many reasons..

Hopefully helps us scoring from the 1 yard line

Hopefully McDaniels doesn't over-think things so they can score from the 1 yard line. Still boggling to me that he has LaCosse, Watson, Harry, Sanu, Edelman, and White and couldn't figure out ways to score with those pass catchers..

Onwenu looks, at first glance, like a potential starter. But he is a RG. Assuming Thuney gets traded, who moves to LG, Onwenu or Mason?

Yeah sometimes i wondered why we choosed these Plays. Was it against the Titans where we tried to run it 3 times and kicked a FG in the end? I am not sure.

Sometimes when I watch those tapes it takes me a couple times through to spot the player, not in this case, he stands out like a sore thumb.

At what feckin position exactly is this FECKIN FAT FECK going to play?!?

With Froholdt and Cajuste hopefully being healthy OL depth should really not be an issue this year. Fingers crossed..
Are you are presuming that Thuney plays?

..

He told Lazar that his playing weight last year was 368. He was about 25 pounds lighter at the combine.

Good to see the Pats scouting the Michigan program hard the last couple of years. They’ve been an enigma to me the way they just can’t put it together. So much talented HS recruitment with uninspired results. Can’t wait to see what the coaches do with these guys.

Most guys need a red shirt year because they are not nfl strong. But not this kid. However, he needs a lot of work on his technique especially footwork, which is raw. He needs to refine his zone blocking technique and also develop a bit more lateral movement skills.

I think we keep him at right guard, but everything depends on what happens with thuney.

Nose tackle, and I'm not joking.

I agree. He is not agile enough for our O-line schemes. He will be a beast at NT on running downs. Passing downs he can rest. Great role player on the D-line.

Something happened to Harbaugh. He was an amazing elite NFL coach in SF his first 3 years. Then seemingly has taken a nose dive. Very weird trajectory.

Onwenu is too big, and not quick/fast enough to play LG.

If Thuney is gone, I would expect Froholdt to start at LG, although moving Mason, and starting Onwenu at RG is certainly possible.

LG: Froholdt, Eluemunor
RG: Mason, Enwenu

I loved the Froholdt pick but then I watched him play in the preseason and he looked like one of the worst lineman on the team....totally overmatched against opponents backups. I'm not giving up on him by any means but I doubt that he will be able to step in as a week 1 starter at LG.
