Let’s see...

  • Took a somewhat lesser-known DB in the second round that made many go “who???”
  • Drafted a defensive player who played for Nick Saban
  • Traded out of the first round
  • Traded up a bunch of times in basically every other round
  • Double-dipped at a position of need three times (TE, OLB, G)
  • Drafted a specialist in the fifth round
  • Has not yet taken the one position all the analysts expected (QB)

Oh yeah, it’s a Bill Belichick draft all right. All that’s left is for him to take Malcolm Perry from Navy in the 7th to really put the icing on the cake.
Looks like we got the "injured offensive lineman" box checked now too.

Says the guy that has made it clear BB can't draft WRs...yet moaning for him to draft one. The definition of sabotaging your own argument.

So we say screw it to drafting the position and roll with slow, unproven commodity’s for a 2nd year unproven flawed QB?

There was one minor constant that is no longer present...racking my brain......

Brady made it all work.

He sucked it up and won with JAGs. You can count the HOF WRs that he had on 2 fingers - Moss and Edelman..

New England Patriots: Justin Herron, OT/G, Wake Forest - B+ Grade
No one should be shocked that Bill Belichick drafted an offensive lineman who happens to be versatile. Justin Herron is a good athlete with plenty of potential, so this might just be a steal.

Don't beat around the bush,man.
Are you saying BB had nothing to do with the greatest 20 year run of success in NFL history?

I'd say that Belichick decided that any WRs he drafted this year would have real trouble beating out the guys on the team. Edelman, Harry, Myers, the guy from the Cardinals, Lee and Gunner..probably missing some. But, the Patriots will be playing a lot of 2 TE sets with a FB. Ball control. They simply don't need a WR. They need OL depth, they need defense, and they needed TEs and of course a kicker.

Damn, dude

I have been on here 13 years and I've never put anybody on ignore

But you are a Hall of Fame level whiny b!tch
Another clown who has accomplished nothing in life and comes here to vent.

he hasn’t drafted a pro bowler since 2013. I don’t trust him in the draft anymore

When you make this assessment, are you counting people like Van Noy, Simon, Branden Cooks?

Or aren't they shiny enough?

Way too early to look at the 2018 and 19 draft classes and make a judgement. Few rookies ever make an impression on the Pats roster in year one, and that includes the people we count as fixtures in the dynasty.

Strange how many don't see this.

Tank for Lawrence I guess.

PHI - Quez Watkins - WR - Southern Mississippi

But Ithought it was Brady's fault that it didn't work last year.

Another WR in Philly.

Brady the GOAT pretty much told us Harry sucked without actually saying it.

Jacoby May not make the team

Sony stinks

Byrd? JAG

white is good and will probably be the only offensive threat on our team

Harris is slower than a slug on valium

sanu is awful

Edelman is great but age 34 and injury prone

You should do yourself a favor and skip this season. Haha. Holy crap.
