They must really really like Asiasi, and they believed someone was after him, because they certainly paid up for him.

I think trading up can be less about fear of a specific team being after your favorites, and more about seeing a significant dropoff on your big board after the player you're trading up for.

It's just that a broad "sure we got them!"sort of thing is not what I was looking for."

You were looking for an all encompassing analysis of our incomplete roster vs the other incomplete rosters in the division in a season that will start we have no idea when? No doubt so that you could condescendingly defecate on that take in more detail.

Browns: LB Jacob Phillips

Ravens: LB Malik Harrison

BRO DID GOODELL JUST SASY ninteen nin---

Godell is drunk...just said 19 before correcting himself to 2020...jeezus krist, somebody...somebody hire a hitman...PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

Now Goodell is flubbing his lines. He’s flagged.

Gotcha. Hadn’t seen that yet, just thought things were getting too testy for draft day. Save the fights for TC.

Not your fault. My internet went bizarro on me for a few minutes.

I'm not shocked that the Fromm and Eason were not selected tonight.

Yeah, Fromm's offensive teammates from his starting tenure include 4 first rounders (Michel, Wynn, Andrew Thomas, Isaiah Wilson), and 3 second rounders (Nick Chubb, D'Andre Swift, Isaiah Wilson).

Yeah, that's a homer number under the circumstances (4-2 in division, based on current additions/subtractions and no analysis?). Nothing wrong with that. We're in the middle of the freakin' draft and everything is obviously still in flux. It's just that a broad "sure we got them!" sort of thing is not what I was looking for.

Im just going on schedule and where each team seems to be right now. It will be easier to prognosticate once rosters are more stable. In the meantime until proven otherwise I am not buying that the Patriots are no longer the best team in the AFC East nor that the East is a great division all of a sudden.

Just seems that much of the pessimism about this team’s chances comes directly as a result of being sore about the exit of one player. The way I see it if this team is bad without him then they really were not so great with him either. Which they weren’t last year.

I didn't think that Guy/Shelton/Butler/Cowart was enough last year. Taking a major downgrade from Shalton to Allen isn't a step forward.

How do you now going from Shelton to Beau Allen is a "downgrade"?

Also, you forgot to mention Wise who also saw time at both DE and DT.
