They must really really like Asiasi, and they believed someone was after him, because they certainly paid up for him.

BB doesnt like to draft WRs. This was a loaded class and he didnt take one

Ok, that's not detailed. It's just you taking a homer approach on speculation. I thought you might have real reason.

It's fine. It's just not what I was looking for. Thanks anyway
Be fair to him. It’s too early to be detailed. Nobody has set their roster yet. All you’re doing now is going on reputation and last year. It’s all speculation now. That’s like driving by looking in the rear view mirror.

Now TE Deguara goes before Harrison Bryan and Trautman. So the predraft TE rankings haven't been accurate so far.

homer? Lol.

Yeah, that's a homer number under the circumstances (4-2 in division, based on current additions/subtractions and no analysis?). Nothing wrong with that. We're in the middle of the freakin' draft and everything is obviously still in flux. It's just that a broad "sure we got them!" sort of thing is not what I was looking for.

When is that last time you liked a BB draft pick?

The answer to this question can be found on the Draft sub-forum.

You don't need a snarky nickname for Asiasi. His last name literally means "so-so" in Spanish.

Que Paso?

Sigh.... Asi-asi.

The good news is none of the other TEs on the roster are even close to asi-asi.

By the way, the sum of Belichick's wheeling and dealing:

23 + 98 + 100 + 139 + 172 for
37 + 60 + 91 + 129 + 159

While I like Asiasi's potential, per the CBS draft rankings, at 181 he is the lowest ranked player drafted thus far. Not sure the Pats had to trade up to get him

Asiasi is a guy that had a wide range of opinions in the media. Some had him as the #2 TE in the draft with arguably the highest potential. We know from the last few years the Pats won’t reach for a TE so I think this is a good sign for him.

Another TE off the board before Trautman.

Somebody tell the Huskie to draft Trautman or Harrison Bryant..STAT!

6-10!

GB just grabbed a TE from cincy a few picks later.

I'm not shocked that the Fromm and Eason were not selected tonight.
