I took it he was asking whats the earliest. But I do agree with you 5th most likely. If BB has favors one over the others he has plenty of 4ths to get his choice

I could see taking a WR in the 6th, as well as a 3rd.

I'm talking about the idea of double dipping in the 3rd. That would make both players roster locks. If a 6th rounder goes out there and beats out Meyers, more power to him. Its possible. But by drafting 2 in the 3rd, you're essentially giving up on Meyers already or you're wasting a 3rd round pick.

I wouldn’t temper any decision by “ we have Meyers”.

I hate being a Pats fan during the draft. We always draft someone no one expects and rarely the pick we need. No clue why we traded up to get Uche. Traded down to get an extra pick only to then give it away and another to trade up?? Infuriates me.

I’m not sure Sanu is a lock. He could be the surprise veteran cut this year.

Its always possible. But he still has value as a veteran. Rookies, Harry, Meyers.... thats a lot of youth. Sanu could help those guys, help a young QB. Id think if we were cutting him, we'd do it now to clear out some cap space right now.

That sucks about Cushenberry. He was one of the centers who also projects as a guard. Was hoping the Patriots could take him as a successor to Thuney but also emergency for Andrews. I don't think Biadasz can do it, but Darryl Williams can play both, and he is much lower rounds.
