2020 Mock Drafts

First time I've ever tried Fanspeak and interested in what you think of this overall draft. I am not as familiar with the lower tier of prospects. Had it on difficult setting user needs and surprisingly I could of taken Tua at 23, but I am not convinced he will hold up in the NFL so played it safe.

The wide receivers flew off the board, but I was satisfied with the TEs.

Here is the draft:

23: R1P23

LB PATRICK QUEEN
LSU

87: R3P23

TE ADAM TRAUTMAN
DAYTON

98: R3P34

S GRANT DELPIT

195: R6P16

QB JAMES MORGAN
FLORIDA INTERNATIONAL

204: R6P25

OT TREMAYNE ANCHRUM
CLEMSON

212: R6P33

K RODRIGO BLANKENSH
GEORGIA

213: R6P34

CB HARRISON HAND
TEMPLE

241: R7P27

WR DEZMON PATMON
WASHINGTON STATE
Shocking that Delpit lasted this long here; he won't during the real thing of course, but I still would never take him where I would need to take him...I also wouldn't wait until #204 to take an OLman either; that's where pick #s 139 & especially 195 would be better-served...

Just finished a PFN mock with the updated draft order...Did a few trade-downs and managed to acquire Seattle's first of two late 2nd-rounders (#59) plus another late 3rd-rounder; added the Bungles 2nd-rounder next year as ammo in the Tank for Trevor campaign, and still finished with 12 picks...

36.
Josh Jones OL Houston

59.
Jeremy Chinn LB/S Southern Illinois

98.
Chase Claypool TE/WR Notre Dame

100.
Van Jefferson WR Florida

105.
Davon Hamilton DT Ohio State

139.
K'Von Wallace FS Clemson
- I should've drafted Antonio Gibson here; I was lucky he was still available at 150...

150.
Antonio Gibson Weapon Memphis
- I then should've used this pick on DE Trevis Gipson...

172.
Dalton Keene TE VATech

195.
James Smith-Williams DE NCState
- I then could've used this pick on FS/CB Reggie Robinson, who for some reason isn't given much love by Tony Pauline...

204.
Darryl Williams C/G Mississippi State

213.
Markus Bailey LB Purdue

230.
John Reid SlotCB Penn State

2021 CIN 2nd

If Thuney is traded, then we need to draft more than one OLman...and going from Thuney to Bredeson is a Huge downgrade.

No love for the Redshirt Olineman?

My final effort, no trades.

I haven’t watched any film, but having done a minimal level of reading, I love those first four picks.

I’m beginning to think Marlon Davidson is our guy since many think Epenesa or Matos.
I’m an Epenesa guy

Thanks for the feedback think I'll go back and try again. I was shocked about Delpit as well, but hey he was there seemed like a good fit then.

PFF didn't liked my first pick but I took @BaconGrundleCandy latest draft grades and choose to go for best available where I have seen team needs, thats how it went down, only the Saftey was graded below a 3rd rounder

sure could have went better, but I would take this draft and a kicker as UDFA any time

Yeah I'm really surprised that Ruiz at #29 was given such a low grade...He's a top-40 value for me all day long...

2nd-to-last Fanspeak (no trades) mock for me...this one uses the very helpful Arif Hasan's Consensus Big Board, in which he combines the rankings of many of the more popular websites then averages each player's grades from them...User-Voted team needs & Difficult algorithm too:

23: R1P23
OL JOSH JONES HOUSTON

87: R3P23
LB MALIK HARRISON OHIO STATE

98: R3P34
TE HARRISON BRYANT FLORIDA ATLANTIC

100: R3P36
Weapon ANTONIO GIBSON MEMPHIS

(117: R4P11
DT Leki Fotu, if that gutless scumbag Little Billy had a pair...To add insult to injury, it's Tampa who takes him, with this very pick!)

125: R4P19
WR ISAIAH HODGINS OREGON STATE

139: R4P33
DE TREVIS GIPSON TULSA

172: R5P26
DT KHALIL DAVIS NEBRASKA
(An ok consolation prize I guess...Not nearly the monster Fotu is, but much more stout than most other 3-techs)

195: R6P16
C/G DARRYL WILLIAMS MISSISSIPPI STATE
(I didn't realize that Danny Pinter was still available here - he was listed with the OTs - so I probably would've gone with him instead of Williams, especially if Andrews seems good to go)

204: R6P25
Slot CB JAVARIS DAVIS AUBURN

212: R6P33
LB MYKAL WALKER FRESNO STATE

213: R6P34
TE/HB CHARLIE TAUMOEPEAU PORTLAND STATE

(230: R7P16
FS Ken Robinson XFL/WVU...But that feckin disloyal, incompetent, arrogant motherfecker couldn't even show THE FECKIN GUTS to insist on keeping #230 instead of #241...Now I have no choice but to draft:
241: R7P27
S JALEN ELLIOTT NOTRE DAME
...who feckin sucks...Thanks for absolutely FECKIN NOTHING, AZZHOLE)

195. Dalton Keene, TE, Virginia Tech
