Btw I have a Pats Big Board. Its a combo of what position put up the #'s we like. Talent, projection etc.

Debating on starting a thread or putting it in another one?
Love to see it.

Damn! I have more money in my wallet than KC has cap space LOL. I’ll buy Mahomes for NE for $200 :D

Trades and restructures are coming.
Keep your eyes on Gilly,Thuney,Hightower.Edelman,Cannon.
Patriots should try to trade for Curtis Samuel. Shouldn’t cost much

Not sure what upside there really is to Samuel. He's young, but he's been in the league for a while already and hasn't been able to produce that much better than the mediocrity we already have on the roster. At best, you burn some draft capital for a younger player of the same caliber as Sanu.

Collecting a million #3 WRs is how we got into this mess, it's not how we get out of it.

I was reading an ariticle on WEEI (I think) which said that NEP will have over $100m in cap space next offseason... is this true? Who is coming off books (other than the $23 or so in dead cap space?)

Meh, Kenny Golladay would be a much better target.

I mean, yeah. But so would Chris Godwin or Michael Thomas. My point being the Lions would never give up Golladay.

Do you think those aren't the stats I looked at immediately before replying to you?
Sure I guess we can agree to disagree I feel the kind of offense he was in and Injuries to Cam have stifled his development.
I'm saying for like a 5th rounder.

To be fair, I wasn’t addressing you. I was addressing Chris. My point being was that if we’re going for a WR on a rookie deal, we may as well aim high for a WR that can help us not only between the 20s, but in the red zone as well. Also, while I agree that it’s unlikely, there is a much higher probability of acquiring Golladay given the relationship between Bill & Fat Pat as oppposed to Godwin. Michael Thomas isn’t even in the realm of possibility, so that wasn’t a good analogy.

A draft of Kmet Trautman Mims or Claypool and Raegor transform this entire offense.
We might be able to trade out of the first pick up a extra third and stock up on the front 7.
4 difference makers is realistic give Stidham some good targets.
Don't want either Kmet, Mims or Reagor at 23...If we can trade down a little and pick up a 2nd-rounder (23 for 34 & 44?), then Kmet becomes more logical...and a WR with our first pick 2 years in a row? I just don't see it...
Best might might be Trautman (or Harrison Bryant?) and Claypool (or Van Jefferson?) with 2 of our 3rds...

Doesn't sound like this is a TE draft. Seems like most of the "top" options might still be there end of day 2.
Yeah except for Kmet (44-64 range), most of the other TEs might still be available at 87...

If you posted astrophysics I'd understand far more than the above as I don't follow college ball

I think this is a "take it on the chin" year from a cap standpoint.
