Lots of people are saying draft a quarterback to groom. This approach could have a successor lined up for Brady. On the other hand, we could use our top picks to bolster that defense and the offensive line. Those would help winning with Brady now.
I'm curious about what this board thinks about Belichick going against his modus operandi and going all in these next two years to try to eek out one more Super Bowl. The odds of that happening increase if we invest in our current needs rather than a quarterback. The downside is that when Brady retires we won't have a quarterback. Are you guys okay with that and the possibility of tanking? I'm actually hoping we go from Super Bowl club to 2-14 laughing stock quickly so we can rebuild in 3-4 seasons with those high picks. It only took Bill one 5-11 campaign to right the ship and we've never looked back.
