Sweden runs a mining enterprise, a pharmaceutical retailer, a broadcast company. In all of those countries, utilities, alcohol retailers, gambling, infrastructure contractors, railways, and airlines are fully or mostly nationalized. The major mobile phone provider in Sweden and Finland is owned in part by both countries. All of the countries have a national bank. Norway has its sovereign wealth fund from oil and nationally owns huge portions of private companies across the world but especially in Norway itself so the country has a presence on many boards of directors. Finland and Sweden both have smaller direct holdings through their national banks.

More nationalization is in line with socialism is it not? Either way they still have free markets just like we do. although there a bit more nationalization there than I was aware of.

I never had much love for Reagan, but remember blubbering over his Challenger speech. This was a softball question lobbed at Trump and he turned it into a fight.

I guess my biggest question is: "What could he have done WORSE than everything he's done or not done?"

You can learn a lot about a person when they have to face the music.

Totally took it out of context but whatever...

Best thing he can do is let Pence run these things. That's why he appointed him to head the task force. It's got two really good Drs. Pence can handle the questions without drama.

Out of context?

Youd fit right in at the propaganda department.

Be ashamed that you're fighting this hard for a man whod **** on you.

I'm not saying it's impossible, but what would be the context that clip could be put into, that would justify donny's response?

I don't care what side of the fence you are on, everyone should be able to agree Reagan had infinitely better writers and preppers/handlers than Donald Trump. That was a group fail right there

...and Ronnie knew how to deliver a line with perfection .

Ok man, I'm open to the idea it was out of context but from just reading it it seems like a softball question that could have given Trump a moment to deliver something like a 'nothing to fear but fear itself' moment.

What is the context I'm missing?

what context? I was watching it live. It was a ridiculous unprovoked tantrum, when the reporter was actually trying to give him a platform to address the Amercian people who are afraid. If there were any justice, he'd have gotten a punch in the face that second.

Then he doubles down by completely screwing up the message again regarding the malaria drug. There is no solid evidence that this drug will ever be part of a solution, but keeps talking about it like it's imminent. He has no clue in this world what he's talking about. Then the experts have to take the podium and completely contradict him.

Every day he proves what a rotten imbecile he is. On Monday I was ready to give him a pass on all his other bs the past 3 years, if he'd just get this pandemic right. But he's incapable.

The exchange lasted longer than the clip provided above. Trump already answered the guy's question, went to a different reporter, and the guy interrupted. In a previous question, he said the President was impulsive. Basically he's trying to trip him up.

Trump has heated exchange with NBC reporter over prospects of coronavirus treatment

So brit homes, the right wing conservative is the all mighty of what is right and wrong?

It certainly was a got ya question because the reporter knew the president lacked the verbal skills to handle even the slightest of shade.

But at the end of the day that question was asked because everyone knows this loser president lost his reelection over a chinese virus.

This thread needs some serious clesning up
