perhaps because Dmac is still one of the best safeties in the game. You act as if his $5.4M 2020 cap hit will break the back. The likelihood of getting a better 2020 cap value is virtually nil.
What am I missing Cousin? Average salary for his two years is $11.5mm. What is this $5,4mm?

The cap hit. It’s backloaded with $6.45 million in dead money after he’s gone.

Which means we’re about to have a whole bunch of complaints in two seasons from people that can’t stand the idea of intentional dead money. It happened with Revis and it’s happening again now with Brady.

Woah, things must be grim when some players are turning down higher multi-year offers from NEP to go play at Miami.

So far:

MIA: Karras, Van Noy, Roberts
DET: Harmon, Shelton, Collins
NYG: Ebner, Judge, Bielema

Retired: Watson, Scarnecchia

Where are you getting that they are turning down higher money deals from the Patriots?

Karras did. Went to Miami instead, which is amazing.

NEP roster bleeding like the stock market.

Marshall Newhouse would be the starting RT on the Bucs right now. And he might not be much worse than the LT.

Oh, wait. This is heresy. The Bucs are going to the SB, I forgot. ;)

The Bucs had the 10th best passing O-line last season.. Methinks you're just slamming them because it's Tampa.

What are your predictions for those teams’ records in 2020 ?

That report was quickly corrected. The total two year contract offer was more than Miami’s one year offer. The Patriots were offering less than $4 million in the first year.

Methinks you might not be right. Their interior line is pretty good, but one tackle is a 34 year old free agent and the other sucks.
