Yep, long history of stiffing his contractors. Then he offers 10 cents on the dollar and if they don't take it sez 'Sue me.' Which never ends well for the less well funded contractors.I met a NY italian guy in FL who's dad had the business of installing elevators in high rise buildings. He told me Trump's MO was always to withhold payment, not honor contracts, trying to re-cut deals after the job was completed.
They had to stop working for him. Funny how when a guy like AB stiffs his vendors he's a scumbag, but when Trump has a very loooong history of doing the same thing, he's a fv^ken genius.
What exactly has Trump done so poorly during this crisis? Could more testing kits been made available by the private sector? Sure, but that's not his fault as the supply of the chemicals needed for the kits here in this country is low. Could he have shut down travel from Europe sooner? Yes, this is one area where he should have acted earlier. Is it his fault people who are coming from China to the US were going through Europe first and lying to US authorities where they've been?
BTW, how did Obama do with SARS?
The US executive branch (and who is responsible for that branch?) made the specific decision to not approve and use the WHO tests that much of the rest of the world is using and make its own. Which it then made defectively and lost more time. It absolutely is his fault. What exactly has Trump done so poorly during this crisis? This gent was removed and team disbanded in 18. His team would have been point between agencies and executive. To argue that cutting crucial elements that serve at his pleasure, not his fault, is not a tenable position. What exactly has Trump done so poorly during this crisis? That article just says they are talking (today) about how to implement testing. Jesus, they're still just talking? WTF, I thought this guy was from private sector and knew how to make things happen, the decider.
He has no clue what he is doing. It is so apparent. Has his followers totally confused. One day, this is nothing, common flu, my gut tells me... Next day he's banning all flights from Europe and market tanks.
He's got Rush and Hannity trying to cover for his 180 degree reversal, blaming it on what he has to do because of the media. It's a fv^ken clown show I tell ya.

Two issues have led to the slow process in testing for COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus. One was that the CDC had initially put out narrow guidelines for who could be considered for testing. Those criteria were eventually expanded and so far about 11,000 specimens have been tested, according to the agency. South Korea, on the other hand, has been testing nearly 20,000 people each day for the disease, according to reports.
1. Disbanded NSC's global health unit
2. Initially downplayed the threat, called it a hoax and has repeatedly undermined government/public health messaging
3. Reportedly slow walked testing because he didn't want to undermine his reelection chances
4. Has surrounded himself with sycophants and incompetents, and has put unqualified doofuses in important positions (Jared Kushner, Larry "Cokespoon" Kudlow)
5. Gave what was likely the worst, most counter-productive public address by any President in recent history, if not throughout, wherein he made several misstatements of fact
6. Has refused to allow states flexibility to use Medicaid funds in response to the pandemic
7. Has repeatedly demonstrated that he cares more about the stock market/economic implications than public health effects
8. Has failed to produce any sense of calm or reassurance. Doesn't appear to have any idea what to do in response, other than to advocate for a payroll tax cut, but only through November (gee, I wonder why)
I'm sure there are many more points that could be added. And to answer your question, a heck of a lot better.
Sure, there have been missteps, but at the end of the day, there have been 40 deaths due to this in the US, while 4000 died from H1N1 when Obama was in charge.
