I’d have to agree. And the fact that someone like yourself who has a wife in the healthcare industry who is both at risk and has direct knowledge of this situation only confirms it further.
She told me yesterday they have NO coronavirus testing kits at her hospital, one of the largest in central Mass. Tomorrow is her day off and we will be having a sobering discussion on how we should plan for either one of us getting sick. Meanwhile, look at this chart on testing availability by country -- the U.S. is third from bottom: Coronavirus Testing Criteria and Numbers by Country - Worldometer

He's low road or no road, no ideology other than himself.
He’s middle of the road. You’re more than welcome to explain to me how his criminal justice reforms are right wing, though. I look forward to that.

Believe what you want Kontra, the way I see it he has no political ideology beyond himself and what gratifies his base.

Just suspend everything even people working. Seriously?
Was reading where NCAA will not have fans for the tourney and my boss calls to tell me to stay home for an indefinite time. Not in denial anymore.

T

That’s my fear as well. I can’t imagine getting it and potentially having something happen to someone I know/care about. Since you can have it without even showing symptoms, it makes it that much harder to isolate yourself in time. Man... I don’t think I could live with knowing it could have come from me...but that’s just how my morbid mind works.
I am preparing for a nationwide isolation. I do not know if it is going to happen, but I am going to be ready for the government to tell us all non-essential people to go home and stay inside for 4 weeks.

The company I am consulting for right now is prepping everyone for work from home. Ironically enough, this company is in an industry where we have all been incredibly busy the past few weeks. They've extended my project and I am more than happy to stay aboard since other companies are currently focused on business survival, not hiring independent contractors.

The language we use is so important in shaping the actions that will be taken.

For example, some people are making assertions about the hysteria (over reaction) that's happening. I've been following this closely and haven't seen any over reaction from anyone. I've seen people talking about hysteria in order to try to manipulate public opinion but no actual evidence of hysteria. So let's be careful about accepting it just because someone said it and then it gets repeated on the airwaves as truth.

The Worst Outcome

We are all Patriots.

I'll be bunkered down with my cat if anyone needs me....

Yeah I think that’s a big point. Regardless of whether it’s personally believed to be hysteria or not, can be worth preparing for the actions/directions of others who see it differently.

What kind of work?
Waiting for something similar from my company

Biden’s new platform..”I will personally produce a cure for the coronavirus”.

Biggest hysteria i have ever seen. Aren’t these guys healthy? If you’re healthy you stand a better chance of survival.
It isn't them to worry about. It's all the people they come in contact with during day to day operation. Gobert (plus Mudiay I think) have probably already infected the entire team and staff. You ever notice how infections go through a pro sports team? It's like lightening.

Are we really gonna play this game now? On this board?
Fair point given the demographics of this board and the immediate shutdown of posts/thought that drifts from it. Tight ship.

Supposedly, the administration refused the test kits offered by WHO, they didn't want to be seen using kits made in Europe.
